curlfeather as a villain was such a great concept, as well as choosing all the protags, they all had difficult relationships with their moms and at the end of the series it shows how all the mothers did care for their kits in their own way

Sparkpelt loved Nightheart from a distance, both wanting a connection from each other but struggle with initiating it -> both having a familial connection that improves and forgive each other (istg if yall claim Nightheart was in the wrong i will fight you because yall have NOT read the books)

Berryheart did love Sunbeam however the relationship was very intense, after losing Needletail to Darktail and having to deal with the kin made her very strict and conservative this made her and Sunbeams relationship very strained when she tried to get Sunbeam to follow her ideals to the point Sunbeam wonders if her mom loves her due to how conservative she is -> Berryheart shows that she did care for Sunbeam by defending her till her last breath (this does not excuse her actions)

Curlfeather definitely loved her kits but i think she favorited Frostdawn the most , after the death of her mate the moment Frostdawn's dream made her think just maybe she is a medicine cat, she was very close with her and we can definitely see that in book 1, however its found out she was using Frostdawn so she can be leader -> at the end her and Frostdawn talk, a very long talk, her trying to explain her actions and defending it, through and through but she does care for her. from sacrificing herself to actually talking to her.

i wish Berryheart and Sunbeam would've had that kind of talk however with how stubborn Berryheart is, it would've been hard, especially since around that time she did in a way disown her (rejecting help from her + the clans) i think it would be cool to have her talk to her as a ghost or something.

erin hunters writing is misogynistic and does seem to focus more on the male characters and treat female characters like the dating pool for the male characters or characters to kill off

the whole book wasnt about Nightheart being named after him not being orange, it was about how thunderclan saw him as a whole. everyone did have high expectations from him as well as a tradition that in a way Squirrelstar started of her line naming their kits after Firestar. him being named Flamepaw made that insecurity of him not being up to thunderclans standards of being like Firestar made it worse. (imma add on and say him and sunbeams relationship felt forced, and him joining shadowclan in way felt like he was using sunbeam as a excuse to join the clan)

but to the firestar point, yes everyone in thunderclan is related to firestar however im talking about how hes direct related to Squirrelstar and Bramblestar, the pressure of him being their grandchild as well as living up to firestars legacy was his arc and not him being "ugh i dont fit my name because im not orange"

i feel as if Nightkit and Mistkit attending Tigerstar's ceremony mightve made him a bit soft/gen

like i feel as if he wouldnt be incredibly as bad as a villain as he used to be but chilled out, especially if his mom was there.

imma just say this, im glad that its decided or implied Hawkwing will be chosen as the new leader of skyclan, Leafstar has had her time and honestly?? she barely did good, in fact its proven that without Leafstar skyclan was doing so much better (more food etc)

People are wrong about a starless clan and its really annoying (I AM NOT listenin to anyone about this)

im saying this because as someone who has readd the entire book series i can confidently say that. why / how people are wrong? mainly due to youtubers and other famous wc creators giving their own opinion without even reading the entire thing or making a skit that dramatically characterizes the characters in a way where it isnt the same character anymore (unless its their favorite) and its really annoying, or hell half ass read the book and call it a day

things the fandom is wrong about

Nightheart the fandom mistreats Nightheart because of a few instances, one where it was about his name change and two about how him and Sparkpelts relationship was Nightheart had a right to be upset about his name im trans, and im saying this due to many things, you can! change your name without being trans and you can change your name if trans, having the prefix 'Flame' did not feel right to him, he didn't connect with it as much as his mom did. he is right, he doesn't even look like a flame, he also didnt want to be seen as just Firestars kin (even if the whole thunderclan is, him and finchlight have more of a firestars kin thing due to them being grandchildren of squirrelstar) but he was NOT mad at his mom for naming him Flamekit i dont think he was ever mad at his mom to begin with Nightheart didnt even hate Sparkpelt, in a way he felt jealous because Finchlight was able to connect more with Sparkpelt than he ever could due to when they were exiled that they had more time to connect. he did wish to have a similar connection with his mom too! Nightheart had another right to leave Thunderclan, and i dont think it was just for Sunbeam. Thunerclan had high expectations of him, he was held back due to SAID high expectations (legit Squirrelstars fault, if Leafheart were to go by her own gut instead of Squirrelstars opinion he wouldve graduated at the rate he shouldve been) not to mention, the moment he changed his name his own sister and mother literally avoid him after yelling at him during his name ceremony, if my mom and sister did that i too would leave.

Splashtail one thing ive seen in the warriors discussion is that Splashtail is a atheist, and thats not at all true he does believe in starclan, he just uses that belief as a weapon and thats what made him a good villain. if he didnt believe in starclan he wouldve had a much more different dialogue from when he was speaking with dead curlfeather and when he was dead.

Tigerstar/heart may have not had a right to barge into Riverclan but he did genuinely do that with good conscious, he was worried for not just the well being of the clan as a whole but what would happen if it would spread outwards to the other clans (cuz they were being really fishy b4 being found out) . he tried his best to help out, and when Frostdawn thought she was a warrior apprentice he actually listened and didn't insult her. he wanted Riverclan to get their leader and medicine cat, he pushed for it! he didnt want to be their leader.
