PART C: In Character Questions
How did you feel when you first arrived on the island? How do you feel now?
Initially Nibs was relieved to be brought to Neverland. It saved him from being hanged which was nice, and he made a new group of friends and quickly returned to his old ways. Nibs liked being part of a gang, and he thought Pan was a pretty good leader seeing as he promised to never grow up, and only grown ups betrayed people.
After Pan left, Nibs promised himself he would never trust again. Not after even Pan who was the least likely to grow up, did just that and turned on them just like any man would do. Now Nibs only feels mistrust, and hate. He hates the Lost Girls for being girls in general, he hates Slightly for having the potential to become another Pan, he hates the Pirates for existing. It seems the only thing Nibs doesnât hate is himself.
What do you think of the other members of this island? Are there any you would say you are close to?
Nibs thinks the rest of the Lost Boys are alright, they are decent enough companions to have in a fight and he knows that while he canât trust anyone, he can rely on them when need be. The Lost Girls are a different story, Nibs canât stand the thought of them. He pretty much wants them all dead, but especially Bandit and Dawn. He wouldnât say he is close to anyone, because he wonât make that mistake again.
What would you say is your worst habit?
In the past Nibs would have said trusting people, but he hasnât made that mistake since Peter. Nibsâs worst habit is that he doesnât think before he acts. He is very much a doer rather than a thinker and it gets him into trouble. His habit of saying what first comes to mind is probably a close second, though the two are pretty much linked.
What is your biggest fear?
Nibsâs biggest fear is falling into the same routine again. Letting himself trust another person who just turns out to be another cruel adult who only wants what is best for themself and will turn on anyone if given a better opportunity. He greatly fears the possibility of Slightly doing exactly to the Boys, and he knows that it has a great chance of happening.
What is your current knowledge of the island and its habits?
Nibs knows every single nook and cranny of the Hangmanâs Tree with his eyes closed, but then again so do most of the boys who have been there for as long as he. Nibs prides himself on knowing exactly which fruits can be eaten in the meadows, and he has many a time slipped some poisoned ones into peopleâs meals if he didnât quite like they way they were acting. He has also learned what the islandâs weather habits fortell. He canât predict what the weather is going to do, but he can pretty much anticipate what will happen after the weather that the island is producing.

PART C: In Character Questions
How did you feel when you first arrived on the island? How do you feel now?
Tiny shifted in her seat before propping her legs up on the table placed in front of her, leaning back in her chair with flamboyance. She sucked in a breath as the question was worded before releasing the lung-full in a huff. âWhen I first got here I felt-â She paused, taking a moment to think of the proper word before finishing her sentence. â-relieved.â Tiny finally said. âI had just escaped a compromising position in my life, I was glad to be somewhere else.â She replied easily with a shrug. âAnd now? I feel the same way, relieved.â She waited a moment, making sure her words where heard and slightly comprehended before explaining. âI would rather be here than back there, thatâs how I see it. Sure, sometimes being here sucks shit, but this is a dream come true compared to where I used to be. Itâs not complicated.â
What do you think of the other members of this island? Are there any you would say you are close to?
A spark flared in Tinyâs eyes as the question was asked, it was a small, brief reaction that wouldnât be noticed if it werenât being looked. âOh, you want gossip, do you?â She chuckled, her expression almost matching that of a sneer. âWell, letâs see. Thereâs Bungee, that prepubescent fuck. Heâs always messing around at the borders, making my job difficult. I would break his face if I ever got my hands on him.â She said, her face scrunching into a look of distaste. âThen thereâs Dawn, sheâs alright but a little pretentious, donât you think? I mean come on, nobody make themselves a leader without being at least a little self-absorbed.â She said honestly with a shrug. âEveryoneâs generally okay, but just that. I havenât found anyone worthy of a title better than âacquaintanceâ quite yet.â
What would you say is your worst habit?
ââMy worst habit?â Tiny seems almost taken aback by the question, her eyes widening just a bit as she leans back in her chair. âI guess my worst habit is that I pick the skin on my fingers. Itâs not a nervous habit as much as it is a boredom thing.â She said, raising one shoulder in a half shrug. âI know I shouldnât but if my shift gets particularly slow I sometimes do it to pass the time. I should probably stop, it might be how that pig Bungee gets by my radar.â She said, clenching her teeth together.
What is your biggest fear?
Tiny pushes the chair back onto its two back legs, balancing with her eyebrows raised. âMy biggest fear? I would have to be stupid to answer a question like that around here.â She said with a scoff. âAlthough I suppose it doesnât matter all that much.â She muttered lowly to herself. âItâs-â She hesitated as to whether or not she should actually respond or not. âItâs not a fear, alright? I donât want to go back. Thatâs it. Thatâs the only thing that gives me any kind of concern what-so-ever.â Tiny said simply. âAnd thatâs not gunna happen, so no worries.â She said with an air of defiance.
What is your current knowledge of the island and its habits?
âMy knowledge?â She reiterated. â I mean, I know what I see. I know the weather patterns around here are all out of whack. I know what the Lost Girls are like.â She paused, thinking. âI donât know much about the food, I just know not to eat anything that the gatherers donât bring back.â She sighed. âI know how the names work.â She shrugged before giving a somewhat challenged look. âWhy are you interrogating me anyway? I donât own you shit.â She hissed, shaking her head. âI have to go anyway, itâs been a pleasure or whatever.â She said, throwing her hand out in a dismissive fashion.
We have a maximum of three characters per person, to avoid monopolization of characters. We donât allow doubling up per group (i.e. having two characters in the same group) and we encourage spreading out to different genders or ethnicities.Â
Off the top of my head, I would definitely say someone like Sebastian Smee and Foster for males, Kane and Saka for non-binaries and Evangeline Storm or Rose for females.
When do you plan on posting the remaining bios? there are a few charters I would like to know about that still don't have one.
Weâre posting them slowly, ânon, for several reasons. But if youâre interested in any of them specifically, youâre welcome to request that we release them sooner! Just send us a message here and we will take your requests into consideration! And we appreciate your interest in the unreleased bios!
âWelcome to the dawn of a new beginningâŠâ In the land of never-moving time, we must walk on forwards into the new age.â
Congratulations, KIRSTY! You have been accepted for the role of TINKERBELL. Please send an ask using your characterâs page within 48 hours, and Welcome to Broken Toys!
How did you feel when the island began to fall apart? Do you even remember the days before?
The fairyâs eyes flit angrily to the asker. âDo I remember⊠Of course I remember the days before! I was there! When Peter crowed through the forest and brought such laughterâŠâ She trails off and her demeanour changes, like a switch has flicked within her. âI wasnât there when things fell apart. Not that that mattered to them. They still found a way to pin it on me.â Silence falls for a few long moments. Thenâ
âIt was cold. When I came back. Cold and quiet.â
What do you think of the other members of this island? Are there any you would say you are close to?
âNot particularly,â she answers, picking dirt from under a nail in a careless fashion. When her remark is met only with silence, she relents, rolling her eyes and elaborating. âIâm banished, you see. So I have no formal alliances. My kind donât welcome me anymore and the others usually canât see me. Who wants to walks around all large and lumber like a human all the time, just so other people can see you? Not me.â Her nails clean (she doesnât usually do this, but the scrutiny these questions are putting her under make her reluctant to give eye contact), she shifts her gaze to a falling leaf. âI suppose that the pirates are interesting enough. The mer are nice to watch, if you donât get too close.â But thatâs all she seems willing to give. The others feel more personal, or not worth her notice at this precise moment.
Not all relationships will be friendly, and we more than doubt that your character will think of every other member of this island to be sugar and spice and everything nice. What does your character think of the other members of their group, for example?
âThey can rot for all I care.â And that is all she will say on the matter. Or, at least, all she will say when her body is brimming with red-hot fury.
What would you say is your worst habit?
She considers this, her hand tracing the knots in the bark of a tree to avoid looking at the other. âWhat is a habit, anyway? What does it matter?â Privately, she wondered whether she might be a hair too impulsive. But really, that usually only leads to adventure and sates her curiosity. It wasnât a bad thing. Not at all.
What is your biggest fear?
Tinkerbell looks sceptically at the asker. Her expression says it all; really? âYou wonât get me that easily! Next thing I know, there would be spiders in my bed, or loud bangs following me wherever I go!â She laughs, a pealing bell of laughter that rings around the clearing. âNot that Iâm afraid of those things. Spiders are quite big in my fae form, but nothing horrific.â And now sheâs in fartoo good a mood to say anything about fear. Who wants to be scared when they can laugh in what feels like the first time in forever?
What is your current knowledge of the island and its habits?
Tinkerbellâs eyes glisten. âI was born here. I grew up here. Thereâs nothing I donât know. I know about the fae, their dust and their wings and every nook and cranny of Pixie Hollow. I can remember even after so long. I know about the Lost Boys, their history.â Maybe not so much now, but still enough. âThe Lost Girls and their stolen customs, their poor-manâs camp. How to avoid a mer, how to greet the Natives politely and properly, days they call sacred. The favourite haunts of the pirates. Where to hide and where to run, the best places for hide and seek, or games, or battles, or both. In short,â she looks up pompously and triumphantly, âI know a lot.â
This is just a small note to say that acceptances could be delayed today. We apologize ahead of time for any inconvenience. Please expect them either later tonight, or tomorrow.Â
