“ be nice ! ” with one hand clutching onto the back of frankie’s shirt like a lifeline , xe takes tentative steps behind him. “ find my iphone said it was around here , i swear. ” at least that’s what xe’s able to piece together with xer shoddy navigation skills. “ like , maybe a few more yards and we’re there. ” the sound makes every hair on xer arms stand up , and xer eyes widen. the arm protecting xem is cute and all but xe doubts that either of them would be able to protect the other come a life or death situation. a slow nod and xe lightly pushes frankie forward. “ i-i’m sure it was just a little animal… come on we’re so close. ” there’s a clearing coming to view in the distance even in the moonlight. “ there , i think ? ”
oh , what the actual hell ? it didn’t help that it was too quiet in the woods. she couldn’t help but to shiver at bit. “ well , do you have your ringer on ? please , please tell me that your phone isn’t on vibrate , day. ” this would probably make their lives a little easier once they get closer to xer phone. frankie reluctantly pushed on , one foot in front until there was some faint rustling to their left. “ let’s get past this and into the clearing ... ” i have a very bad feeling about this place. words that frankie wouldn’t have been able to admit to the other. his pace getting faster with every step. was xe able to keep up ? was he going too fast ? “ here , give me your hand. i don’t want to leave you behind ... you know , just in case. ”

“ get over yourself , insoo. ” aki couldn’t help but grin back at her friend , arms crossing over her chest as she studied the other. curse him and his good looks. “ well , you didn’t hear it from me , but word on the street is that you look like the better ghostface here between the two of us ... but that’s if you keep the mask on. ” she playfully pointed at the mask , a small sense of victory swelling in her chest.

it had been days. the time in between creeping slowly. no amount of work would have been able to keep his mind off of the fact that the two weren’t okay. that the look in casted over her features that night sent him into what feels like an eternal unease. a place that was incredibly dark without her. and it drove him further into that darkness when he had no idea what he’d done for them not to talk. he missed her. the flowers in his hands felt heavy , almost as if he knew that he’d be walking out of their apartment with them in his hands again. “ i’m home. ” he said quietly , already preparing himself to be greeted with silence.
“ charlie ? hello ? ” defeat. had he been overly dramatic ? was the silence just ... normal ? “ i have something for you. and i was hoping ... we’d get something delivered to us tonight ? pop open one of the bottles of wines that you like ... and order from that place you like around the corner ? ” minki draped his jacket over loveseat’s armrest. “ charlie ? ”

their legs took them over to the other as fast as they could to the end of the hallway. just ahead of them was the other person that got roped into this mess , just how bad was this night going for them she wondered. “ hey , HEY ! ” indigo yelled out to them , lungs on the verge of giving out. just one last push. one foot in the front of the other. “ are you alright ? ” they whispered –– well , it was more a rasp –– to their new companion as she pulled them in with her to an empty room. “ i think we’re safe here until ... whatever the fuck is terrorizing the main floor decides to take a breather or two. ”

“ there is no way that we’re going to be stay here tonight ... ” remy looked out of the window , unsure of how the two managed to roped in with a group of their friends to stay at an allegedly haunted house. “ just look at all the fucking –– ” just one wrong step to the side and they’re face first into a cobweb. “ cobwebs. ”
remember that regardless of your intentions, sorting your muses by gender (be it male/female, masc/fem, homme/femme) can and will come off as tr@nsphobic. there are different ways to sort muses on muse pages/masterlists, but gender shouldn’t be one of them. the rpc is a group of very very creative people that can come up with something else. also if you do this and have the gall to sort ur nonbinary muses into either section, i hope your the temperature of ur room is never warm enough for u to be comfortable.
