Book Review: Stolen
Hey everyone! It’s been so long since the last post! With the stress of finals and finishing up my first year at college, I hardly had the time to do anything. Now that schools out I can do all the things I’ve been wanting to do. At the top of that list is to read a good book that doesn’t make me zone out in the middle. For that, I enlisted the help of Holly from Summerskydesigns. She recommended Stolen by Lucy Christopher. A thrilling novel about a 16 year girl named Gemma who is taken away from her friends and family by Ty, a young man who had been obsessed with her from a young age.
Review: When I say I finished this book in four hours I am not exaggerating, I couldn’t put it down. The story, which was told in the form of a letter from Gemma to her captor, had me captivated from the beginning to the end. I was hesitant at first since I usually don’t read YA novels, but Stolen was interesting and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this book!
I want to thank Holly for recommending this book to me and for doing this book swap with me!
Have you read Stolen or are you interested in doing a book swap? Send us a message!
