Isaiah’s entrance onto the scene was swift; of course he’d been keeping an eye on Bron ( she was, thankfully, much easier to keep track of than Ruben ), and while he’d been pleased to see she’d avoided her new group of friends, her protests meant that he had to step in. “I think she’s made herself QUITE clear, actually. So, if you wouldn’t mind….” His appearance had, apparently, been enough to make the boy reconsider; after setting his sister down, he made himself scarce. “Are you all right, Bronwyn?” His hands found her shoulders, and he crouched down to meet her gaze—-he probably hadn’t been as present as he should have been with her, lately, but with everything going on…. “He hasn’t been giving you any other trouble?”
“ Issie, MY DARLING BROTHER, I am perfectly, a b s o l u t e l y, entirely fine. ” A hand, slight in shape, ( quite like the rest of Bronwyn, ) met his cheek for a brief moment, warmth swelling in soft brown eyes. Like she worried about the two of them, she knew Ru and Isaiah worried about her. And so, when either of the boys asked, she was fine. Fine, fine fine. Even when she wasn’t. “ Him?? Ru gives me more trouble than he ever has. Speaking of, I MISS the two of you. So un-furrow those brows and make fun of my homeless-looking friends, or call me short. Just no more looking like father for the rest of the night. Smile. ”
