I am the prize

He’s lucky to have me

I add value to his life

I’m the one that should be chased

I just need to focus on myself and myself only

I need to gain my power back

Even food no longer fills the void

No one knows the whole story except me

No one has lived my pain except me

Growing up with no one to look up to with no guidance in life with no direction

I struggle to find my path

I’m just flying with the wind

Letting the air take me wherever it may

I have no sense of direction and no sense of self worth

I just go about life

Having no one to be proud of is a curse

Living in shame

No one knows the whole truth so no one has the right to judge me

I have lived my whole life with an angry man

Trying to understand him

Walking on eggshells

Compromising everything just to feel accepted and loved

I don’t want to live the rest of my life with an angry man

I can’t help it

I don’t want to live here anymore but still I don’t want to continue living in survival mode

What is there other than this traveling and living alone?

Can I bear the loneliness?

Is it better to speak or to die

You have to remember that YOU ARE THE PRIZE
