Brooklyn Deli Food Explosion

There is a design aesthetic specific to delis in many neighborhoods of Brooklyn, called the food explosion. It is a bountiful photo collage of prepared food, usually comprised of fried items and sandwiches, taken from many different sources and points of view. Often, coffee or soda containers will be interspersed among the sandwiches. This photo project is an attempt to document, as well as celebrate, the Brooklyn deli food explosion.
