There aren't really words that could give justice to how faithful God has been to me this year. I'm incredibly humbled that God still chooses to use me and mold me in the midst of brokenness and struggle. The cry of my heart is to be twisted, pulled, and worn down to the point of dependency on Him, and he has not hesitated to allow that to happen. A state where nothing else will satisfy but a love encounter with our Heavenly Father. As I approach an end of a chapter in my life, I'm expectant of a new sense of dependency on God. On weak days, my flesh fights. But I want to be a child of God who worships in Spirit and in truth. Be encouraged today. If you don't feel strong, he has made you strong. If you don't feel adequate, he has called you His. If you feel like you've failed, remember that He will never fail. - - - “Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” - ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40:28-31‬

Happy birthday to my sanity, my southern half, my kindred spirit, and one of my very dearest friends. Thank God I don't have to imagine my life without you, because I can confidently say I know you're not going anywhere. Thank you for living out consistency in my life, loving me regardless of circumstance, and being my constant safe place. I love you more than you'll ever know, KitKat. Happy 22nd, old woman.
