Sentient Adversaries

Folks have been suggesting that maybe Sentient Adversaries will be Hunra goons.

What if the hunting process is presented as solving Film Noir style crime mysteries like a private detective? Your parazon mods could be "Clues" that you have to assemble to bust the Adversary's criminal scheme. Brysko could run the weapon shop for them in the form of a detective agency you help him with. You could add a mini narrative monologued by Brysko as the hunt progresses, too.

The Adversaries wouldn't even necessarily have to be only Hunra goons. They could be a myriad of Femme Fatales, corrupt cops/politicians, missing persons, etc. There's so many character tropes that you could pull from here. They could be called Persons of Interest.

There is a women in 40k week in September being organised by @40kwomenweek.

I was going to write something new, but I don't think I can write something in time. The idea is there, but the words aren't coming.

But, I have two WIP that I think I can finish.

1). Fourth squad of the Antares rifles meet lord Castellan Ursula Creed herself! The 4th are all from the lower hive, what could they possibly have in common with a noble of Cadia?

2). Iduali, before she fled the t'au empire, was a pathfinder. She has a date with shas'la Elsy'eir Vesh, a former fire warrior, before injury forced her retirement. The location? The bath house, and tales of old t'au.

So, a poll, to run over the weekend.

I got asked what Kej and Stormsky have been up to.

Stormsky has quite a few protogés on the Great Adaptation that she gives lots of attention to, but only superficially. Kej knows her better than any of them. In return, she sees lots of the ones she cares about in him, and hopes to see him to those standards. For better, or worse.

I also decided on the names for Stormsky's passed bonds.

Mistmantle - K'sa'na, (mistcloak/hood/shroud) the strategist and overview keeper. She got there from working as a stealth team leader and excelled at pacification, precicision strikes and most of all planning them.

Dawnarrow - Sum'tan'seri, (arrow of the dawn, as in the first beam of sunlight), the morale keeper and fellowship connector, the one who leads the way. Always looking out for her fellows, and the higher up she got, the more she proved a very able teacher of her wide skillset.

Stormsky - Sha'ten'grii, the iniative keeper, the ferocity, the hunter. Sharp, unmatched and endlessly driven, she simply excelled at her job. When they were together, Mistmantle and Dawnarrow were her rocks and guidance, and she their drive and piloting power.
