A customer found a pair of antique mountain goat shoulder mounts by the curb of a mansion in Newport, RI. She brought them home and then brought them to the studio for a cleaning. The fur was falling out in handfuls and the skins were very dried out and cracked so they’d never hold up to a cleaning. (Mountain goats are pure white btw!) We decided to carefully salvage just the horns for the customer and mount them onto walnut plaques with upholstered white leather. https://www.instagram.com/p/CoTXb9MAqF2/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
