Time for Abarth? Abarth 1500 Coupe Biposto, 1952, by Bertone. Carlo Abarth founded Abarth & Co with Guido Scagliarini in 1949 and began tuning Fiats, offering kits that found an immediate market. In just a few years, Abarth & Co had 375 employees and production of around 300,000 exhaust systems a year. This one-off was designed by Franco Scaglione and presented at the 34th Turin Motor Show based on a Fiat 1400 reworked by Abarth.
