Eiza Gonzalez in Big Sur, California Photos by Cory Tran
kevindarden:
She liked the feeling of him in her hand, she smiled as he moaned at her touch. His fingers over her nipple made her shudder for a moment. Brooklyn was growing impatient now. Her hand retreating from his pants to begin work on pulling her own panties down.Â

kevindarden:
The skirt ripping only gave him easier access to grip the skin underneath. It was as if everything they had just went through meant nothing. The only thing on his mind was her, pushing himself closer to her. Kevin was more than willing to fulfill her request. Once Brooklynâs lips met his again, Kevin moved them closer to the door to lock it. The bar had been quiet most of the day, and he hoped it would continue for a little longer. He placed her against the wall again, trailing kisses down her neck. âFuck, I want you.â Everything about this felt too nice to stop.Â
âNo more talking...â She said her head tilting back as he pressed his lips to her neck. If they stopped it would only start hurting again. One kiss was all it had taken for both of them to lose their senses completely. Brooklyn was past the point of no return now. His kisses traveled further down her body as her hand moved down from his neck to his chest. Brooklynâs fingers moved under the fabric of his shirt her palm pressing against the skin. Â
kmdavidson:
No. Iâm being my natural, gorgeous self that told someone that didnât listen.
I didnât fuck him in Cali, I did listen.Â
kevindarden:
Kevin could still feel her crying, knowing full well that he should stop before if got any farther. But as her arm went around his neck, a different part of him took over. Both his hands ran down her sides to the back of her thighs. Kevin picked her up to wrap her legs around his waist. His hands stayed under her thighs, walking to place her against the wall. He didnât want to break the kiss, even if every part of his mind was screaming to stop. A hand reached back up to cup the side of her face.Â
Sometime in the moment, the tears started to fade and all that was left was kissing. Feverish and desperate longing for the comfort of someone else. His hands moved to her thighs and Brooklyn wasted no time in wrapping her legs around him as he lifted her up. Operating on instinct instead of sense, forgetting for the moment what they had just spoken of it felt too good to stop now. She could hear the fabric of the pencil skirt sheâd worn to work that day ripping. Kevin pressed her back against the wall. Breaking away from a moment her words were breathless. âLock the door,â she instructed her lips traveled back to his.Â
kevindarden:
The not knowing would have killed him. Almost having something happen would all his mind would have focused on. After the party and the look Antonia had given him, Kevin knew there was too much unfinished business with her to start anything with Brooklyn. But as she stepped closer, Kevin didnât want it to stop. One hand snaked to her lower back, reducing the space between them to nothing. He should have just walked away, it would hurt her less. None of this was oblivious to him, but he found himself doing the opposite, letting himself fall farther into the kiss.
Something in her was bleeding as they pressed against each other. Was trying worse than dreaming? Brooklyn didnât know but the tears poured down her cheek, her hand moved from his chest to circle around his neck pulling him tighter to her. He pulled her closer and she could feel her tears falling onto her chest now, her shoulder shook with her sobs even as he held her. Brooklyn knew it was temporary yet she couldnât stop herself from wanting more.
Two people kissing at the bottom of a lake, silt swirling around them. Kissing grips kissers as the coldest winter on record gripped Europe.  Kissing makes plain the body's resolve. Kissing references a text that no longer exists, which we conjure back into existence by kissing.

Skevindarden:
That night in the alley, Kevin had wanted to kiss her too. Now he figured he should have just done it, but timing was never on their side. From the beginning Kevin had spoke about Antonia. It wasnât just coming up now, yet they still ended up here. Practically saying goodbye to something that hadnât fully happened. The worst part about her crying was that it was his fault. She could try and take the blame, but Kevin could have shut it down earlier and none of this would have happened. âI donât want to lose you either.â he said, wiping another tear away before bringing his lips to hers.
The world was falling apart around them, yet these feelings were all Brooklyn could focus on the last few weeks. Even now as he broke her heart nothing else seemed to matter. It was strange finishing something that had never really started, somehow it hurt even more. Knowing she hadnât even been a possibility. When he pressed his lips against a small whimper came from the back of her throat. She could taste the salt of her tears between their lips and her shoulders still shook with sobs. Yet she didnât stop, she stepped in closer to him her hands resting on his chest.Â
kevindarden:
She was right, they hadnât acted on anything. Yet, it felt like he had. There was nothing more to tell than to say they had feelings for each other. Kevin continued to wipe the tears away, his heart aching even more at the sob. âThis would be much easier if you were.â Itâd give him a reason to walk away, something he was having a much harder time with than he wanted. âSo where do we go from here?â Kevin wanted to keep her in his life, but that wasnât something heâd force her into if it was going to be too hard.Â
âI knew going in I didnât have a chance.â Brooklyn looked up at him his hands still cradling her face as he wiped the tears away. âT-thatâs why I didnât kiss you in the Alley or ask you to come home with me after the celebration. I canât be mad at either of you when I already knew-â Brooklyn couldnât finish her sentence through the tears now. She shook her head at his question, âI d-donât know.â She said trying to compose herself again but not making much ground. âI donât-â She inhaled sharply, âI donât want to lose you.âÂ
kmdavidson:
Yeah, heh, no. Definitely not. But enlighten me â Why did you ask if they were like Kaden and I?
Iâm not enlightening you about anything because you are being a massive asshole right now.Â
kmdavidson:
Eh, just like being right when I already knew I would be right.
You were right. Will you be nice to me now?
kmdavidson:
What did I tell you? What did I tell you?
Iâm glad me feeling like shit makes you so happy.
Shiny happy people//Brooklyn & Kevin
kevindarden:
âI mean it clearly exists, I just donât think itâs as easy as they make it seem.â He never really had the inspiration growing up. There were no good role models to base anything off of it. Antonia had made him realize he could fall in love, but he didnât know where to start if she was the one or not. How was he even supposed to know that? âEverythingâs always more complicated than it appears to be.â
Kevin understood why she didnât want to see the men in her family. âWhy donât you try to talk to them? Your sisters and your mom, I mean. Or do they side with your dad on this?â He didnât think she really needed to talk to both sides if she didnât have too. âYou make it sound so perfect.â Kevin wanted to be like that with the pack, but he wasnât, and he didnât know how to be. âI sort of just fell into it because Kyleâs my best friend.â
Brooklyn didnât have much to say on the subject. She knew little of love out side of family and friends. The love she had for her pack was the closest thing she could relate. âYeah, I donât know shit about that stuff.â The ocean water was starting to prune her hands as they waded there.Â
âThey wonât speak to me. My sister still lives in the city. I tried with her but she didnât want anything to do with me. I canât blame them, I left everything behind. I should have helped them out with me.â She said with a sigh as she shook her head. âItâs not perfect, but itâs better than being alone.â Her voice was resolute as she spoke. âI havenât got anybody else now, I need the pack as much as they need me.âÂ
kmdavidson:
Did you try getting with Kevin.
I-I didnât mean to. Please donât be mean.Â
kmdavidson:
Fucking told you when you left not to try that shit.
Try what shit?Â
