Inktober 1: Ring. Fafnir was once the king of the Dragons. He began to crave more power and instructed the finest crafters to fashion a magic ring that enabled him to listen to the thoughts of others. However, it was too much to bear. He abdicated the throne and took off into the wilderness taking the Ring of Knowledge with him, there he will live till his dying days, with the ring lost to time. =========================== This year for Inktober, I will be doing a dragon a day, and given you their backstories. Last night I watched the Apollo 11 documentary in the cinema. A fantastic film made entirely of footage from the launch and landing. It was as close as someone from my generation can get to experiencing the phenomenon the #moonlanding. It brought a tear to my eye as the astronauts leave behind the prejudices and troubles of humanity in search of exploration and discovery.
