Typos & a beat
Oh Hi! Here I’ll be sharing all of my stories, pieces of my heart that I hope find their way to someone out there. I am Black, Afro-Colombian, and I write about women who look and feel like us: Black, fat, original characters who are bold, brave, vulnerable, and always surrounded by other amazing Black women. English is my second language, so I might stumble here and there, but that’s part of the journey, and I’m okay with it. I hope you’ll join me, enjoy the ride, and maybe even see a piece of yourself in the worlds I create.

The lights were too hot, the cameras too close, but Alex didn’t flinch. She leaned forward, eyes sharp, smile easy, and asked the kind of question that made Michael B. Jordan laugh, not the polite, press-junket kind, but the real one. Wunmi Mosaku leaned in too, caught in the pull of Alex’s energy. By the time the red light on the camera blinked off, Alex wasn’t just another movie critic on the circuit. She was the girl Michael wouldn’t forget. His favorite girl.
