Everyone knows someone who is the middle child of their siblings. Some of them are just oozing with independence while others are the peacekeepers between their older and younger siblings. Xiomara Armida Reyes is just that middle child. Though she was so much more than just the middle child and the female Reyes made sure of that. While Mr. and Mrs. Reyes were focused on her older and younger brother, their attention just was never really one Xiomara and she loved it, but, at the same time she loathed it. From this she started to stand out by acting out and always getting into trouble just so the attention was on her. She would pull some of the most ridiculous pranks to breaking someone’s nose. Though when it came to fights Xiomara always made sure the person she broke deserved it. She would claim she is looking out for the little people aka those who were targets of bullying. It had gotten so bad to the point where her parents hired someone from their security to follow her around and make sure she did not get into trouble. Did that work? Why hell no. This just made Xiomara become more creative and mischievous. Her parents then began to think if this was all just a phase and thought it would be best to play it out. They were completely wrong. By the time Xiomara gotten into high school she became known as the Troubled Reyes. She was no longer called that is so and so’s little/big sister. Despite the partying and her reputation, Xiomara kept her grades up and from this gained a scholarship at the University of Houston. Seeing a way out of Lakewood and being part of the Cartel she grew up in Xiomara left the very next day after walking across the stage to get her diploma. She didn’t even tell her family goodbye or anything. It was her way of saying she had no interest in being part of the criminal world.
Fast forward to a few years later and Xiomara recently graduated with a Masters Degree in Master Mechanics. She had always loved getting down and dirty while working on cars. It took her mind to some other place while working and no one really did bother her. Though after a while Xiomara began to feel homesick and decided it might be best to return to Lakewood. Of course Xiomara wasn’t just going to move right back in the Reyes residence, no. She ended up renting out a little apartment not far from her work, Dusty’s Auto shop. A place she spent a lot as a teenager and where she got her first and last job before leaving town. Xiomara still wants nothing to do with being part of the cartel, but maybe that will all change with her being back home. Despite claiming she wants no part of it Xiomara might not be able to fight it for it is in her blood. She is a Reyes after all.
