I was inspired by this post to add Portuguese to this table. Spanish and Portuguese may be more similar to one another than either of them are similar to French, but there are still differences (especially in spoken Spanish and Portuguese!). I used WordReference.com to determine the Portuguese cognates. Might add Italian and Romanian later just for fun. EDIT: I made an error with regard to the Portuguese definite articles. Sorry about that!
Words in order:
Reality, university, creativity, unity
Sentiment, movement. behaviour, enrichment (?)
terrible, possible, horrible, unforgettable
school, body, death, harbour, door
Latin is strong in our languages indeed.
Fun fact: In Portuguese there is another word somehow more common for Inolvidável (comming from vulgar Latin oblitare to forget) it’s Inesquecível coming from Esquecer from another Latin root Excadere (to fall outside)
