This clip from Dead Man is meant to connect from Jim Jarmusch, to poetry, to his narration on a walking tour podcast called Passing Stranger, The East Village Poetry Walk, an audio tour of poetry related sites in New York City’s East Village. Other narrators include Ron Padgett, Anne Waldman and Richard Hell, as well as historical audio from poets like Allen Ginsberg, Kenneth Koch and Frank O’Hara.
The tour is about 2 miles and takes 95 minutes, can’t wait to do it!

Yah, that's right... I needed this. And I love it already!
I love the process photos for development of a fantastic website on the dangers of hydraulic fracking. I’ll admit to having seen others’ posts about the fracking situation in Upstate NY and never really spending the time to research and understand the issue myself. This taught me more in 5 mins than anything I’ve seen yet.

Detroit is debating how best to save Michigan Central Station, a gracious relic of the industrial age that has been idle and deteriorating for more than 20 years.
