yo do i owe anyone or??
"Oh, yes, I had the best reason of all." For a moment, Kiryu’s eyes flashed with the indignation and rage shared by all who grew up in those slums. But he could tell Bruno was on the verge of panicking, so imagined Yusei’s serene voice telling him to calm down. "Or I thought I did, at the time. Don’t worry, I’ve been thoroughly punished." Was it too soon to tell Bruno he was technically dead? Probably, he decided.
"So…" He tried to fix the dark direction the conversation had taken. "What about Yusei and Crow’s rooms?"
"I-I see..." If Kiryu had a reason for his actions, there was no problem, right? That meant as long as Bruno didn't give him a reason to be mad at him, he didn't have to be scared of getting murdered. Seemed easy enough. "Ah yes, their rooms are right over here..."
As quickly as they had entered Jack's room, Bruno left it, dragging Kiryu along to make sure he was not going to stay behind. One thing was for sure, the mechanic was definitely not going to get bored as long as Kiryu was staying over.
"That doesn't sound very healthy..."
Not-so secretly steals his cup ramen...
"What the hell do you think you’re doing?”
Oh, he feels like he’s going to regret this, but…
“Surprise me.”
And here we see the mechanic randomly picking up a cat...
"Well there's this cat I found... you could pet it?"
Not-so secretly steals his cup ramen...
"What the hell do you think you’re doing?”
"… What do I get in return?"
"... What do you want in return?"
Not-so secretly steals his cup ramen...
"What the hell do you think you’re doing?”
"Then you’ll have no problems handing it over."
"But I'm hungry..."
Not-so secretly steals his cup ramen...
"What the hell do you think you’re doing?”
"Are you sure it’s not because you’re afraid of me?"
"Uhm... yes. To-totally sure that's not it."
Not-so secretly steals his cup ramen...
"What the hell do you think you’re doing?”
"Why don’t you ask first?”
"... Because you seemed busy and I didn't want to interrupt you?"
Not-so secretly steals his cup ramen...
"What the hell do you think you’re doing?”
Shit. "Getting a snack...?"
And here we see a poor mechanic, passed out on the kitchen table with his fork still in hand.
That fork. What could he have been doing with his fork in his hand?
"You." Jack shook his shoulder, taking the fork before he accidentally stabbed himself in the forehead with it or something.
Jack hadn’t anticipated a more confident Bruno to be so surprisingly attractive. He kept his hands buried in the soft, blue head of hair, letting the mechanic do whatever he pleased, and finding that the lack of control was surprisingly exhilarating. Usually, Jack preferred to be the dominant figure in any situation, whether sex or a duel, but here, giving it up, he found that he was having a good time.
"I’m not tired." Jack immediately lied. Of course he was tired—he hadn’t gotten a proper night’s sleep in weeks. Something had kept him from relaxing and falling asleep, but what? He had no idea. He’d tried everything, from warm milk to medication meant to help him sleep, but none of it seemed to work.
"Uh'huh..." Needless to say, Bruno didn't believe him. After finishing his milk and placing the cup into the sink, he walked over to Jack and glared at him. Or, well, he tried to, but didn't exactly succeed. He looked more like a baby kitten being scared of their mother.
"Th-that's bullshit. It's quite obvious that you haven't been sleeping much latetly, if at all." He might get punched for this, but it was his way of testing if his theory was correct. "You, my dear Jack, need to sleep! Don't make me carry you to your bed!" He sounded a lot more confident than he actually was. While he seemed determined on the outside, he was screaming on the inside. Please don't hit me...!
Just as Bruno had hoped, Jack laid in the bed alongside him, and tugged the blanket up over both of them. Their hair was still damp, and the room was a little cold, but he figured that being under the blankets would be enough to combat that.
"Get used to this instead." He said, like he was issuing an order. This was the way he wanted it to be from now on, and he would not allow it to be any other way.
Not only did he get to sleep in an actual bed for once, but also got to share it with Jack. If today wasn't a good day, then Bruno didn't know what it was. With a yawn, he decided to roll around and snuggle up against Jack, resting his head on the blond's chest.
"If that was an order, I'll happily obey." He mumbled, smiling against Jack's skin. Never would he have thought the two of them would end up like this, but he certainly liked it. A lot.

Just when Bruno thought this day couldn't get any better, Jack actually carried him out of the bathroom. He was halfway expecting to be dropped off on the couch he used to sleep on and was more than slightly surprised when he was dropped off on Jack's bed instead.
"It is, but I'm used to it by now." He replied with a yawn, looking up at Jack with expectant eyes. He was going to lay down with him, right?
Kissed!
28. Hips
When the Pharaoh’s lips touched Bruno’s hips, the mechanic let out a high-pitched screech, his face flushing red. He hadn’t seen or heard him enter the garage, probably because he was dozing off, and neither had he noticed him taking the blanket off of him. But the kiss he did notice.
"Ph-pharaoh-san…!" That was all Bruno could really say. His brain was still trying to process this situation— it just didn’t make sense to him.
[text] Does my brother even ring a bell anymore?
[MSG - Yusei]
... You have a brother? I didn't know. You should introduce us. [/SENT]
When he came, his stare went above his cup for barely a second, Bruno not necessarily could notice how blank it was. He was nervous as fuck too - just for him it looked quite differently. When he cared so - too - much, he was getting genuinely scared. And when he was scared… he mostly acted like he didn’t care at all.
"Well, I told you I will." He muttered, as he went back to staring at his cup. He bit his lower lip lightly, hoping that the other won’t notice… and wondering how should he go with this now.
Bruno did notice, but chose not to comment on it. Instead he slowly reached out and gently placed his hands over Kiryu's - that would make drinking his coffee a little awkward but oh well.
"I'm glad you did." The mechanic mumbled shyly, a faint blush spreading on his cheeks as he smiled slightly at the man in front of him. "I... kinda missed you..."
Not special, damn his ass.
If he wasn’t something special in Kiryu’s eyes, he wouldn’t ever try so hard to make it on time. More, he wouldn’t try at all and probably wouldn’t even go there in the end. But here he was, 10 minutes too early, sitting inside Cafe la Geen, staring bluntly at his coffee as he waited for the other to arrive.
While Kiryu stared at his coffee, Bruno seemed to have troubles getting out of the door. Somehow, he'd suddenly become very nervous out of nowhere and was walking in circles - quite literally.
It wasn't until five minutes before 7 that he finally managed to step outside and walk over to the cafe. Taking a deep breath, the mechanic entered and looked around to see if Kiryu was already there, which he was.
"You actually came," he said as he said down on the seat opposite Kiryu, the nervousness in his voice was clear as day.
