“I hear the heavens. They sing for my arrival.”
wolfisharmageddon.
Standing back up, she chuckled at the man. Eagle Vision n e v e r deceives. Green meant ally, in the very least, if not a fellow Assassin. Which is why the whole situation for her had gotten so much more intriguing. She was almost tempted to lure him into a f i g h t , just to see if he was who she suspected him to be. It might end up happening though, with what she was about to say, despite her mission.
“I highly doubt this will be our only encounter, mon frère,” her eyes blinking the blue world away rapidly. “Doesn’t it bother you in the very least that an Assassin with a strange accent is suddenly in your presence?”
‘Did you now?’ he paused mid stride, a grin dancing on his lips. ‘I hadn’t noticed. In fact, I don’t see the difference nor do I care. Listen, woman and listen well. I have a pig to feed and someone’s dog to mince----I hardly have the time discuss queer accents with another who doesn’t sound as different as she thinks.’

“Do you intend to prove me wrong?”
“No. I have absolutely no qualms proving to you how wrong you are. My only advice is that you reconsider.” Marius’ grin curled to life. “But you seem like the type who thinks she has something up her sleeve.”
vivalarevolutionassassin.
“I am only stating the man you seek is not here. Next time I will let you talk to yourself.”
“Is today not a good morning? Should I try in the afternoon? Or perhaps before bed?”
digital-firefly.
“I don’t beg for anything. But I know different.”
“Unfortunately, my dear. I don’t think you do.”
vivalarevolutionassassin.
“Probably because there is no one of that name here.” He stated from the second floor of the study.
“But still, you answer. Subconsciously you are aware.”

“–is that so?”
“Yes. Why? Do you beg to differ?”

“Where is Alex? Never to be found when I’m around.”
parisian-eagle.
“Usually. That one especially it seems. We can’t stand each other and yet she keeps coming back. It must be my alluring eyebrows.” He joked, wiggling them at the larger man.
“Those crawling caterpillars you mean? Yes I’m sure.”
“You were always awfully popular with women.”
Muttering various strings of Québécois curses to herself as she mulled over the details of the events that lead her this far. Nothing was wrong. The directions to this place were given directly by her employer. Could she have been deceived? Highly unlikely. It seemed insensible to pay someone a large amount of money to go on a wild goose chase…
As much as she would’ve enjoyed beating the other into a pulp for the words that have come out of his mouth thus far, she had a killer to worry about.
Eyes blinking several times before the world appeared blue. Seemingly looking off into the distance as a clue appeared to her. Arrie shoved her way past the man, adjusting her beaked hood before inspecting the floor a few feet away.
She glanced back at the man, eyes squinted. He was telling the truth, much to her disappointment. No matter. It was a bit odd though that his body was glowing green.
Odd---the meddlesome woman had been at the brink of what he assume was a fit before her interest seemed to stray now she looked beyond gone, shoving him aside and Marius allowed it and then she did the most peculiar thing. She eyed him, scrutinized him and he waved a palm. “ Marveling me or did you just lose your head? Regardless, I’m afraid I am going to have to cut our meeting short. I have other…things to tend to, farewell. It was a pleasure. Hope we never cross paths.”
“ Where is that foul woman who became well acquainted with my lap? I’d like to have a word or two. ”
“I sure do h o p e you mean her no harm, Messieur.”
“ Why yes. I mean every bit of harm. ”
“And why would that be the case, M e s s i e u r ? Did she pick your pocket?”
“ It doesn’t concern you why I want to inflict harm, woman. ”
“It doesn’t? I’m sure the Madame who owns this place would say otherwise. As for me, w e l l … I was hired by her for a reason, Messieur. Don’t give me an opportunity to s u s p e c t you.”
“ I’m not sure we are discussing the same woman. The woman I know owns nothing just isolation in a church and besides I could care less if a woman suspects anything of me. ”
