Twitter has taken Lena Dunham to task for projecting her insecurities on football star Odell Beckham Jr., who she accused of ignoring her at the Met Gala. In response, one Twitter user included Amy Schumer in his criticism of Dunham and other women who may be quick to pin misogyny on men of color sooner than they would white men. Amy Schumer responded in a manner that reflects her history of problematic statements regarding race.

I think I might make a reappearance on tumblr. I’ve choosen as of lately to stay off social media, but tumblr feels like more of a therapeutic kind than harmful (how I find facebook and instagram to be). I stopped writing down my thoughts and emotions such a long time ago that now the idea feels awkward, and I don’t think that’s really ok. Especially for someone like me who is boiling over in feelings literally all of the time. And while I think it could take some real trying and time to be able to take my journal to the coffee shop again, maybe for now I can come back here.

In Brooklyn, Muslim teens viciously assaulted outside their mosque. Their attacked shouted “you fucking terrorist" during the assault.

In Houston, Muslim doctor stabbed and shot twice while heading to the mosque.

In Florida, Muslim man is violently attacked by a white man who tells him, “You Muslims need to get back to your country.”

In the past few days:

In Minnesota, two Muslim men shot in the legs on their way to the mosque.

In Chicago, Muslim woman kicked, dragged on stairs and publicly stripped searched by the police for causing ‘suspicion’ due to her appearance.
