The marketplace was busy, with many players trying to get their goods sent around. While not the most popular of the VR games, Blade Storm Online has always had a constantly dedicated fanbase. Although, recent events have begun to even strain this group of dedicated gamers, as with what’s about to transpire.
In this case, it starts with a simple merchant-obsessed player bumping into someone of interest.
“Hey! Watch what you’re doing, you almost spilled my stock!” Well, this merchant isn’t happy, not at all. But then, with the state the game is in, who would be?
“I suggest you watch your tongue. You are talking to one of the holy admins.”
Almost hearing that, it seems the merchant got even MORE hostile.
“Oi! One of you loafers! You RUINED this game and you expect RESPECT from that?! I should beat the living TAR out of you for everything you’ve done!”
And almost like that, the admin threatens the merchant by brandishing a sword at the unsuspecting player’s chest.
“You know, that was amusing, so I’ll kill you qui-”
But before the admin could even finish that sentence, the merchant punched him.
“ALRIGHT, THEN, YOU LITTLE EDGY EASTWOOD WANNABE. YOU TRY THAT AGAIN, AND I’LL TAKE YOUR LITTLE TOOTHPICK AND PEEL OF THAT UGLY FACE OF YOURS! I’LL TAKE THAT STUPID HAT AND SHOVE IT SO FAR UP YOUR ASS, YOU’LL BE COUGHING UP RAW LEATHER! I’LL KICK YOU INTO THE BALLS UNTIL ALL THAT’S LEFT IS HAMBURGER MEAT! YOU WANNA FIGHT A REAL MAN?!”
And with that, the merchant decides to do what many players have done since the entire thing has gone to shit.
Exploit a glitch, and double-equip two-handed swords with an inventory oversight.
“THEN LET’S GO UNTIL ONE OF US IS BURIED SIX FEET UNDERGROUND! I DON’T GIVE A SHIT ANYMORE!”
With that, the admin charged in, confident that his advanced commands could stop whatever this merchant could do.
But, before he could start attacking, he realized something.
The merchant isn’t equipped with two weapons.
He’s equipped with twenty weapons.
He’s equipped EVERY weapon in his inventory. And he remembered why.
Attacking unarmed results in every weapon being equipped.
And before he could prepare for that, he suddenly got hit with a sword-whip.
Followed by a sword-hammer.
Soon enough, he was stunned by a torrent of attack impacts due to being hit by 20 weapons.
“WELCOME TO BLADE STORM ONLINE, YOU LITTLE BITCH! ENJOY THE CARNAGE!”
