What are your thoughts on SOTM and does it affect your BTC au after the lore being all scrambled and stuff?

I stopped following FNAF updates for a few months now, so I have no idea what Secret Of The Mimic is about. If I start changing Behind The Codes story every time a new game comes out or a new piece of lore is revealed it'd take +10 years to get the project done 😭

I have this rule where Behind The Codes considers Pizzeria Simulator as the "final" great event in the Five Nights at Freddy's universe and Ultimate Custom Night as the final chapter. Nothing else happens beyond that, so the project sticks to a limited amount of lore (which is still a lot).

There could be "evidence" of the Glamrock Animatronics appearing in random posters scattered around in the background for example, but these wouldn't mean nothing but fun easter eggs.

Problem is SOTM happens before fnaf 6 (it happens in 1979, if I recall), so I think that's why they asked?

hmmm. Nahhhhh

jokes apart, from a chronological standpoint i see my response doesn't make sense. i'll just say BTC considers UCN as the last fnaf game to ever be released, so no lore beyond that one is included (as in, we viewers had a limited amount of information until UCN came out, and that's the amount of information BTC is based off, even if newer games add more lore inbetween).

Happy birthday Starbles! Today is your special day ^-^ I want to say thank you for literally every single drawing you’ve ever made, you’re one of my biggest inspirations. I wish you nothing but the best and I pray that your work, studies, and projects all go great! Relax and enjoy your birthday (◔◡◔) It feels like just yesterday that you were 15 but look at you now! You're halfway through college (I assume) 🙂‍↕️time flies so fast Oh! You've inspired me to start taking animation seriously! It's a lot harder than you made it look but I'm excited for my future careers. I'm working on my own animation project actually :-) Even though I'm not doing any original writing, designs, or audio mixing, this is a real pain in the ass! But I'm excited to finish it, and I realize how you must have felt all those years ago. It's easy to be naïve and ambitious and it's hard to follow your word, just know I don't hold any ill will against you ^_^ I actually admire you even more now! I fussed a lot over your gifts this year. I finished drawing the first iteration of your gift but then I got so mad at myself!! I had given you many drawings before that were SO much better than what I had just made. So, I painted over everything. 🤭 I'm satisfied now; I like how you can see how much I've improved since my first fanart for you But then I thought "Only two characters? Not enough" so I pushed myself EXTRA hard to add a 'lil something. An audio recording of me singing Happy Birthday…in Brazilian Portuguese 😏 (I was surprised with how different it was to Spanish 💀💀) I know it might not seem like a big deal to you; however, this took a great deal of effort because I have situational mutism! Which is a little embarrassing to admit because I'm about to be 17. Speaking of! It's so funny to me how your birthday is 4 days behind mine 😌 Anywho, thank you for everything <3

Me Update! (Not super BTC-related?)

Long time no see :D

I’ve been up to non-fnaf things artwise. Super into Splatoon! In fact I’m working on my own animated-ish project which you can see WIPs of on my twitter (shameless plug)

Anywho! I want to talk about my personal attachment to fnaf as an interest. I was OBSESSED with fnaf in 2020 but nowadays I don’t care as much about SOTM and the direction the video games are going ^_^ however, I’ll definitely be keeping up with the movies because FNAF 2 is just awesome

What does that mean for this blog? Nothing much! I’ve kept my word and have reblogged EVERY BTC post (even tho I’ve been slacking recently) Starbs is taking his time with this project. She’s busy doing bio science stuff for school and drawing Fallout and Fusion Sprunt! (Their original creation about robots which is beautiful omg) Even he admits he’s had a bit of a falling-out with fnaf. Which is totally okay! Everybody changes and grows. It’s hard to be attached to something you liked during a confusing time in your life. I can actually relate in a way, I started using the internet at 12 which was when I joined the fnaf subreddit (💀) It was fun at the time but I didn’t meet good people and walked out of it VERY traumatized. I enjoy fnaf fanart and fangames but a small part of me remembers my abusers whenever I see fnaf content (take a shot every time I say FNAF lmao) I can separate the memories from BTC better because I actually learned about Starbles before reddit! Y’know back when they were all about art requests and the Afton Family suburban au. I’m rambling actually

what I’m trying to say is that I’ll keep archiving for as long as BTC exists! It might take me a while to stay focused because I have hyperfixations elsewhere but BTC still has a special place in my heart :D I think I understand Starbles’ perspective a bit more, and now I’ve come to terms that this project could be abandoned at any given moment which is fine by me. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences in this little niche community. Hah, I’ve been in love with BTC since I was a lil baby guy but now I’ll be turning 17 years old on May 18th ^_^ that’s like my whole life lol

I want to say Thank You! To everyone, for everything. And I want to give an even bigger Thank You to Starbs in particular! Keep dreaming, keep creating, and most importantly keep surviving.

Yes, he just rarely ever shows affection to anyone. Feels awkward when he does, especially during the first attempts. Probably has to do with expectations of who he's supposed to be and how he feels disconnected from everyone else in UCN. Some trust issues are involved in it as well.

Unironically, giving affection comes naturally to him when he's not being self-conscious about it.

Does Ballora keep her tutu and also dance?

If so, has Springtrap ever seen her dancing before?

c. he doesn't get how everyone in that godforsaken place enjoys dancing so much (unironically most of them being just kids lol) so seeing her pull some random dance moves objectively annoyed him, as in "ugh, not you too..."

Bell is that one bestie that drags him kicking and screaming to the dance floor with her - meaning she's not oblivious, so if she ever caught him staring, her first reaction is going to be "GET OVER HEREEEE" while he goes "NOOO"
