One Shot, Two Shots BTS Fest is a fest dedicated to celebrating one-shot and two-shot fanfics.
This fest is open to any trope/theme and BTS pairing, including dead dove (within fest restrictions) and polyamorous relationships.
We're so excited for our fourth round of this fest!! This round will be a bar crawl event, and with that comes a few changes. Please be sure to read through all the information presented in this thread.

Must be 18+ and have an AO3 account to participate
Must stay anonymous until author reveals
All works must be one or two shots (2 ch MAX)
WORD COUNT: min: 1K words max: 20k one-shot, 40k two shots
Must be appropriately tagged
No plagiarism/AI

🍺Prompting Guidelines🍺
Must have an AO3 account to submit prompts
You can submit up to 3 prompts
Make sure to include your DW and DNW (absolutely NO top/bottom dynamics allowed)
Prompts that violate rules will be deleted
DO NOT plagiarize prompts
There will be no self prompts this round
You may include your preferred ship but that will be optional and writers will have the creative freedom to write the ship they feel fits the prompt best
When prompting, there are NO TOP/BOTTOM DYNAMICS allowed. This is to ensure that writers are not limited to a certain bedroom dynamic for their story.
Long prompts will also be deleted. Please be sure to be less detailed to give our writers room to be creative. Being extra specific is better left for commissioned fics, not a fest!
🍺Claiming Guidelines🍺
Writers can claim up to 1 prompt at a time
Writers can fulfill the prompt with a ship that isn’t the one stated
After claiming, you must fill the claiming form or your claim will be deleted after 48 hours
Each prompt can only have 1 claim - first come first serve, based on claiming form submissions
If you submit your first fic before claiming is over, you can claim up to 2 more (three total for this round)
If you'd like to drop your claim, please fill out the drop out form

Your work must be complete to be included in the fest
Works must be original and not a continuation of already existing work
Works can be for a ship that isn’t stated in the prompt
You must keep your prompt anonymous - WIP Wednesdays are encouraged!
You must submit your work to the collection on AO3 and complete the submission form to be included in author reveals
Please respect DW and DNW in your chosen prompt
Please fill in the check-in form within a week of receiving it or your claims will be deleted

Q: Why aren't we allowed to submit more than 3 prompts this round?
We want our prompters to take their time coming up with quality prompts, this way our writers are inspired and not as overwhelmed with the selection of prompts when claiming starts.
Q: Why aren't there any self prompts this round?
The goal of this fest has always been to foster community, and we’ve found that over the years there’s been an increase in the disproportion between self prompts and non self prompts for claims and reveals across fests. This still happened while we had a limited amount of self prompts available during claiming for the last three rounds. In an effort to return to and reinforce our goal of fostering community, we are encouraging writers to take inspiration from the prompts submitted in this round.
Q: Why are you allowing writers to choose a ship other than the one I prompted for?
This is a BTS fest so we welcome any and all ships, including poly. In an effort to reinforce this, and maintain variety while offering our writers creative freedom, we are allowing writers to choose the ship they feel best fits the prompt they're claiming. Outside of the ship, all DW and DNW must be followed.
All other posts will be under their respective hashtags as tagged in this post!
