Stan Against Evil - Dana Gould

I watched the first episode of Stan Against Evil on Hulu. It's created and written by Dana Gould - who is a dude with a chick's name, so it's funny from the first title overlay! Dana has been doing stand-up since before it was cool, then while it was un-cool, and he's still doing it now that it's cool again. Seriously, he was clubbing around Boston at twelve, working for old comic books and bomb pops. He also produces The Dana Gould Hour- it's free, and WORTH it - arguably the funniest pod-cast since the original pod-casts of the fifties. This show is just damn good. It's unique. It's funny. The writing is insanely good. Apparently, loneliness and self-loathing germinate into one damn creative stew. Stan Miller is the ex-Sheriff of a sleepy New England town with 187 skeletons in the closet - each of them a skeleton of a burned witch. Together with the new Sheriff, Stan must protect the town.For my West Georgia Friends and Family, Dana and the gang shoot the show out in Douglasville, GA. I'm super proud of and for Dana for this delightful series! Check it out for some smart, dark humor.
