I don't know, but if I were to hazard a guess, perhaps bubble? Because I think it was only caine that got killed, and we saw that bubble may be stronger/more lucid in this episode than we gave him credit for in past episodes. But that's just a theory...

I’m gonna be honest, I actually don’t think it’s Bubble because remember the two blob things at the start? I think Caine was meant to represent the red one, the first that made mistakes and havoc and was later contained, and then Bubble represents the blue one, C&A’s do over that does the right thing and remained until consumed by the red blob. So I think that Bubble may have also been trying to mess Caine up to get rid of him or something… I hope this makes sense 😅

Always good to reference Film Theory whenever possible 😌
