"This year's winter was colder than before..." murmured Hakyeon as he increase the temperature of the heater before lying down back on the bed. Hakyeon stares at you. He wondered what time would you wake up from your deep sleep.
Your long eyelashes curled up till its end. Your dry lips pursued as you get deeper into a world where reality has no existence. A gust of wind blew into the room made you shivered slightly. Out of habit you move closer towards the warmness of your boyfriend, Hakyeon. The white sheet crease at your movements; you automatically sighed at the sudden warmness. Hakyeon grinned at the sight of you; he kissed your forehead lovingly.
You've already woken up by now but you were too lazy to open your eyes. You nudged even closer to him, he pulled you towards him with no more space in between you two. His arms rested on the side of your stomach, he continues looking at you admiringly. A sudden shyness arose in you making you blush. He giggled at your reaction.
"What time are you going to wake up?" asked, Hakyeon, touching your hair gently. You sighed at the comfort of it.
"Later....", you said, holding him tighter. Hakyeon shakes his head at your laziness.
"Wake up, quickly…Or you won't be able to taste those delicious pancakes…"
"Later.....continue sleeping...", you coaxed him.
The bait he gave you was tempting but the white covers of your bed is even more tempting. Hakyeon caressed your cheeks his hands slowly tracing your features. You grunted at his touch, he smiled at how cute you are with your pout lips. Obviously not happy with the disturbance, Hakyeon removed your hands away from his body and got up from the bed. He tugged the comforter and pillows beside you before leaving the bedroom.
A few moments later, a scent of coffee and hot pancakes lingered into the bedroom. You instantly took a deep breathe of the delicious scent. You couldn't help feeling that the happiest moment of dating is when your boyfriend is a good cook. You could totally relate to that. Your eyes fluttered open, pushing away the covers from your body. You stood away from the bed. After, stretching your strained muscles, you clean up feeling fresh you make your way to the kitchen. Before you even make way to the bedroom door, Hakyeon appeared with a tray filled of breakfast.
"Lay down on the bed", he ordered you.
You smiled at his thoughtful action; you obeyed him not forgetting to give him a space on the bed. He placed the makeshift table on the bed before joining you. Both of you enjoyed the breakfast that Hakyeon prepared. Looking at how Hakyeon would prepare you this simple breakfast meal despite his full schedule yesterday, you felt extremely touched.
"Oppa?"
"Hmm?"
"Thank you so much for the breakfast. Saranghae!" you said, placing a kiss on his cheeks as his mouth filled with the delicious pancake. Hakyeon face beamed at the sudden kiss.
"You're welcome..." he replied as he pecks you on your lips embracing you into a warm hug..

When you broke up with him silently and disappears from his life but he found you and he wants an explanation.
Your eyes traveled up from the shoes you bought him for Christmas two years ago. That pair of shoes that still could last for two year unlike this relationship. His gaze roved over his Rolex watch. It's five in the evening and you were still not at sight.
Unlocking his phone, he browses through the message app - you didn't reply to his last message. A worried expression starts to grow on his face. His black locks blocking his veer, his voice that completely melts you when he serenades to you at nights, Sunggyu...
A vibration from your pants made you rivet your attention from him. It was Sunggyu calling you. You contemplate in picking up his call. He should not know you are here, you were just checking if Sunggyu was at the cafe. Since his here, you breathe in relief you switch off your phone and walked away from him. Even though knowing that if you were given a chance again you would still turn your back never to return.
Staring at the numbers printed on the papers - that you've been scanning the whole day made you puke at its sight. You shoved away the papers and stood up, stretching your aching bones. Feeling thirsty you decide to drop by the convenience store below; grabbing your purse you went down. Entering the store, you buzzed towards the chilled drinks and grab a bottled of grape juice. You gulped down a few of it while bobbing to the music as you trotted to the counter.
"This new song is good right?"the counter lady started a conversation. You curtly nodded in reply, waiting for your change.
"The boys are quite famous these days! What was the band called again...Aish! I forgot the name again..." said the lady
"THIS boy band!"she exclaimed, taking a magazine behind her.
You quickly noticed it as a popular magazine called High Cut and there were seven boys on the cover. Your eyes widened at seeing a familiar face. That very same lip that once kisses your body with passion and those endearing eyes you see every morning. Sunggyu.
"Ahh...INFINITE. They are amazingly good" you commented, taking the bag of your bought items.
The lady returned your change and bid you goodbye. You thanked her and walked out of the store. Shivering at the weather you pulled the coat over your shoulders tightly. You walked slowly to your home dragging the time to go back to work. You were looking down at the foot prints on the snowy tile till you bump onto something soft. You looked up. Instantly you regret going down to the store that night.
"Finally...I found you"
"Come in" you said to Sunggyu, switching on the heater. You make your way towards the kitchen and boiled some water to make for him tea.
"Tea would be okay for you, right?" Silence.
"Gyu?"you said, checking the water. You frowned at his silence.
"GYU?" your voice one octave higher, but he kept silence. You turned towards the living room, but your vision was block.
"I miss you so much..." said Sunggyu, showering kisses on your face. You sighed, pushing him away but he grab your arms caging you on to the table top.
"Sunggyu, stop. Please..." you pleaded, when his kissed travels down to your neck and his hands moves to your pants peeling it away from your skin.
"SUNGGYU STOP!" you shouted, pushing him hard making him stumble towards the kitchen island. His fringe covered his solemn eyes staring at you.
"I'm sorry, Sunggyu. We are not in a relationship like before. We are not dating or even screwing each other"
"I need you, please", he pleaded, kneeling down on the cold tile floor. You shut your eyes at his actions. No. You should not be moved by his actions, if not all the efforts you have gone through will be gone to waste. You kneel down on to the floor - your hands caressed his cold face wiping those tears trails on his cheeks. Tilting his head towards you, you contemplated on the words that you have to say.
"Sunggyu, why do you want to save this relationship?"
"I love you so much. You are so precious to me. I want to save this relationship", you shook your head at his words, and he grabs your cold cheeks stopping you.
"But, I want to know why you left me that night, six months ago. Leaving me without any trace of you neither any reason, what happened?"
The conversation was leading to the direction you were avoiding. It will just bring conflict to one another. You stood up and walked towards the door.
"Leave, Gyu. It's not good for you to be here. The boys will be worried"you said desperately getting him out from your house. You regret bringing him in but it was cold outside.
"It’s my break period. I have all the time in the world." he said, walking towards the sofa making him comfortable before asking you to join him.
"Now. Talk." he demanded you with the Leader Gyu tone he often use towards the members.
"There's nothing to talk about. Leave. Now."
"No."
"Sunggyu, please leave now. When I'm asking you nicely."
Sunggyu shook his head and ignored you.
"YA! KIM SUNGGYU!"
"NO I AM NOT LEAVING UNTIL YOU TELL ME EVERYTHING! Seat here and tell me now. Or, I would not leave." shouted Sunggyu. It was the first time seeing Sunggyu acting this way. Without avail, you obeyed his orders. Shutting the door and sat on the sofa seat furthest away from him as possible. The sounds from the clock ticking at every second that pass made you nervous at the words you have to explain to him. It’s now or never.
"I'm not worthy of your love, Gyu. I don't have anything I can give you. I want you to love someone who is worthy of it. Someone from your area of expertise not a freelance editor. Someone that you will feel proud to introduce and someone that the public would agree to. Someone that..." Your words trailed off, when you saw anger and rage flash on Sunggyu's face. You gulped nervously.
"You are worthy to me. The best thing God has given to me" said Sunggyu. You shook your head.
"We shouldn't have dated, Sunggyu. Those expectations. Those judgements. I can't handle to be in the public eye. This relationship, I can't continue it. I'm sorry."
After a few moments of silence, Sunggyu nodded at your words. He stood up from the sofa taking his phone from the coffee table. He walks towards the door, opening it then shutting it.
You sat there feeling the pain Sunggyu felt six months ago. Cold. Heartbroken. Lonely. Only Tears were flowing down on your cheeks showing how love could turn both of your worlds around.
Sunggyu falls down to the ground, his tired body rested against the door as tears starts streaming down his cheeks.

Orange. The curtains you pick when you first bought the house.
Blue. That couple mug you bought during a Christmas sale.
Yellow. The painting of your favorite sunflower that Ken bought as a gift.
Red. The warm red wool cardigan covered your body keeping you warm. The heavy snow had been giving you a hard time this December. You shivered, at the sudden chill as you entered the balcony. Looking out the window you realize, its Christmas tomorrow night. Sighing, you wish you won't have to spend it alone this year.
Your eyes shifted at the door when the bell rang. Closing the doors of the balcony, your hands in reflex pulled down the red dress you're wearing as you walked towards the door. The sight of a certain someone lifted up a smile on your face.
"Hey..." said Ken, waving the bouquet of flowers and a huge duffel bag hanging on his shoulder and a few branded shopping bags on the side of the door.
"Take this" he gave you the lilac flowers which you take as he juggled with the shopping bags. You giggled at the sight.
"Let me help you, Ken ah..."
You took the duffel bag but your eyes widened at the weight of it. You wondered what in the world did he put in there. In the end, you practically dragged it towards the living room. Leaving it there as what he instructed, you head towards the kitchen to make some hot chocolate for him.
Another bell ranged, which left you frowning again, what is Ken up to. You moved towards the hallway of your house.
Stunned at the thing that was entering your house. Your mouth gaped as Ken gave demands to the two middle age man moving a very large tree. No. Not just any tree. A Christmas tree.
"Ermm... Ken, what are you doing?" you asked.
You have a Christmas Tree, well, a small one. You weren't that festive but this, this tree is huge.
"Its a Christmas tree?" he replied, obvious with the answer. You rolled your eyes. Ken curled his finger motioning you to come towards him. You obeyed and walked to him. Ken propped his arms on your shoulder, leaning down and peck a kiss on your lips.
"I want to celebrate Christmas with you. Our first Christmas." said Ken, gazing intently into your eyes. Your pupils dilated with excitement at the thought of spending Christmas together with him.
"But.. your schedule?"
"We've given a vacation; as a gift for winning first" he answered, unzipping the duffel bag which you had yet to asked him what's inside.
Ken took out the contents of the bag with his delicate hands, the different ornaments of shapes and sizes, from angels, to stars, snowflakes and Christmas stocking. All in red and white the festive colors of the month.
You took a seat next to him, and propped your chin on his shoulder. As his hands dig in further and finally; he took it out with a sense of achievement. Making you jumped from your seat and lose your balance. Ken turned his body which led you to fall from gravity You shut your eyes waiting for an impact when you felt someone grasp your arms holding you.
Slighting opening your eyelids, you stared onto another pair of brown crimson eyes filled with concern and a glimpse of lust.
"You okay?" he asked, shifting your body swiftly on his lap. You blush at the move and nodded at his question. Even after a year, the thought of being this close to Ken would always make you squeal like a teenage girl you once been.
Ken smiled, as he fished out something green, on top of your head. You frowned and looked up. You shook your head at his playfulness, Ken pouted at your actions and inches closer to you.
"Baby, its tradition" warned Ken, winking at you playfully. You rolled your eyes. Ken licked his lips and bit your lips seeking for entrance. You sighed, and kissed him back. The ornaments stranded on the floor, forgotten as both of you succumb to each other desires.
Green. The color of the mistletoe where traditionally you are obliged to kiss with the person you are with under the mistletoe.
