Hello everyone! I need your help for our ateâs mother. Her family is in need of financial help for the hospital and post treatments expenses of their mother in Cebu who was admitted three weeks ago to due to acute abdoment secondary to ruptures sigmoid diverticulitis and underwent surgery immediately. Their family has decided to take their mother home even if she has not yet fully recovered because of the mounting hospital bills. They need to settle Php 120,000.00 ($4000) before May 2, and still need financial help to sustain her post surgery treatment (eg. colostomy bag and medicines). Otherwise, a penalty of 3% interest per month will be added to the outstanding balance. On top of this, after paying the balance, a 10% of the total amount due which is Php 12,000.00 ($231.37) will still be paid as liquidated damages. For more information, please click this link. We only have 21 days to go, and any kind of help will be highly appreciated. Just reblogging it will mean so much to me. Thank you so much!

A strange journey to the glitter factory.
When I asked Ms. Dyer if she could tell me which industry served as Glitterexâs biggest market, her answer was instant: âNo, I absolutely know that I canât.â
I was taken aback. âBut you know what it is?â
âOh, God, yes,â she said, and laughed. âAnd you would never guess it. Letâs just leave it at that.â I asked if she could tell me why she couldnât tell me. âBecause they donât want anyone to know that itâs glitter.â
âIf I looked at it, I wouldnât know it was glitter?â
âNo, not really.â
âWould I be able to see the glitter?â
âOh, youâd be able to see something. But itâs â yeah, I canât.â
I asked if she would tell me off the record. She would not. I asked if she would tell me off the record after this piece was published. She would not. I told her I couldnât die without knowing. She guided me to the automotive grade pigments.
He also did not want me to visit his glitter factory. The jovial Mr. Shetty told me over the phone that people have no idea of the scientific knowledge required to produce glitter, that Glitterexâs glitter-making technology is some of the most advanced in the world, that people donât believe how complicated it is, that he would not allow me to see glitter being made, that he would not allow me to hear glitter being made, that I could not even be in the same wing of the building as the room in which glitter was being made under any circumstance, that even Glitterexâs clients are not permitted to see their glitter being made, that he would not reveal the identities of Glitterexâs clients (which include some of the largest multinational corporations in the world; eventually, one did consent to be named: thank you, Revlon, Inc.), and that, fine, I was welcome to come down to Glitterex headquarters to learn more about what I could not learn about in person.
now THIS is journalism
âMost of the glitter that adorns Americaâs name brand products is made in one of two places: The first is in New Jersey, but the second, however, is also in New Jersey.â that is without a doubt the funniest sentence i have ever read
