It was an innocent first encounter. After receiving an angry phone call from your mother, you were in a hurry to get home. In your mad rush you had crashed into someone at the front gates of your school. You apologized and he helped you up, but it was nothing more than an interaction between strangers. That’s what it was to you, at least. From that day forward, Sehun had set his sights on you.
After months of persistence, you gave in. On your countless dates you realized he was much more than he let on to be. He wasn’t your average “bad boy” character. He often let his guard down and told you personal things without even realizing it. You liked him a lot. Your parents, however, weren’t so thrilled. As they did with all your boyfriends, they dug into his past. They weren’t pleased with what they found. A dropout delinquent who rides around on his motorcycle picking up girls was after their daughter and they weren’t going to let that happen. Your parents forced you to break up, but you continued to see each other in secret. Everyone called you the modern Romeo and Juliet, hopefully without all the death and destruction. Just like that, a year had passed.
You sit on your bed, straddling Sehun’s lap, with your arms around his neck. Sehun’s hands make their way from your waist to your thighs, barely covered by your short skirt. He pushes you down to the bed and uses that opportunity to separate. You roll over and pout, your eyes begging him not to go. “Your parents will be home soon.” Sehun is already putting his leather jacket on in a single motion. He turns around and kisses you once more. “Argh... I really don’t want to go, not when you’re looking at me so cutely. I’ll pick you up from school tomorrow.” He ruffles your hair and you follow him out. Just as he speeds off, your parents pull into the driveway. Shit. Your bedroom door flies open and your mother storms in.
“What have I told you? You’re too good for him! He’s a college dropout with a reputation for playing with girls.”
“What do you know?! You won’t even give him a chance.”
“If you want to be with him so badly then get out and don’t come back.” You grab your bag and storm out of the house, tears in your eyes.
You stare at the city lights reflecting off the Han River. You hear a familiar motorcycle engine revving which prompts you to turn around. Sehun pulls off to the side and turns the ignition off.
“What is my sheltered princess doing out so late at night?” He asks as he approaches you.
“I-- I got kicked out,” you send him a weak smile. He sighs as he leans on the bridge railing.
“Damn... Guess I really am a bad influence.”
“Don’t say that! It’s not your fault. Stop blaming yourself for everything.”
“I’m not blaming myself. I’m accepting that everything that’s happened to you is a result of your being with me. I’m stating a fact.”
“You know that’s not true. I took a calculated risk. I knew my parents would find out eventually. I know that you could get tired of me at any second and drop me.”
“You know I won’t do that.”
“I can and I’ll prove it.” He takes your hand and drags you to his motorcycle. He hands you your helmet and the two of you speed off. After a short while he stops in an apartment complex parking lot. He helps you off the motorcycle and takes your hand, leading you through the complex. He stops in front of what you assume is his unit. You cautiously step inside and peek around the corner of the foyer. Being a young adult male, it was understandably mess. Much to your surprise, it was a nice apartment though. You watch him walk into the bedroom and return in loungewear. “Why are you still standing in the entrance? Come in.”
“Whose house would it be?”
“I just mean... You’ve never brought me here before.”
“I never bring anyone home. I’d rather not have my one-night stands know where I live.”
“Whoops, sorry. I forgot you don’t like it when I talk about my previous conquests.” He takes your bag from you and sets it on the kitchen table. You look at him as if you’re asking for permission. He nods and you begin wandering around with him following you.
“You’re not going to find a dead body.”
“I know that! I’ve just never been to a guy’s house before... It’s interesting.”
“Here.” Sehun hands you a cute plush keychain with a single key attached to it. “You’ll probably never use it since I’ll pick you up from school every day, but you never know.”
“The front door, silly. You’re technically homeless now and I’ve been planning on giving this to you soon. I figure now is as good a time as ever." You stare at him with wide eyes. He pats your head and walks away. You follow him and see him lying on the bed, playing with his phone. “What?”
“Well, yeah. Why? What were you expecting?” He smiles cheekily. A bright blush spreads across your face and you turn around to hide it.
“Nothing! I wasn’t expecting anything!”
“It’s been a long day for you. Shower is down the hall on the left, you can borrow anything from my closet.”
You stand in the bathroom, towel drying your hair as you stare at yourself in the mirror. Is this what he meant by proving it to you? Letting you stay in his house? You weren’t sure what that really meant, but it was much appreciated. You really didn’t have anywhere else to go. You exit the bathroom and re-enter the bedroom. Sehun looks up and pats the spot beside him on the bed.
“I’m not sleeping there! You idiot.”
“It’s this or the couch.”
“Fine.” You make your way to the bed and lie down beside him.
“I’m not going to do anything... Unless you want me to.”
“Just go to sleep!” You pull the sheets over your head and try to sleep, despite your rapidly beating heart. You hear Sehun laughing to himself, which pisses you off. He lets out a heavy sigh and pulls you closer to himself, sheets and all.
“You’re really something.” You slowly peek out from the sheets and look at Sehun who has his eyes closed.
“Why did you bring me here?”
“I already told you. You need a place to stay and I was planning on bringing you here eventually.”
“Yeah, but why?” He opens his eyes and stares back at you.
“Isn’t it obvious? You’re special.”
“Oh.” He smiles at the simplicity of your response.
“Sleep. I really won’t do anything.” You’d hate to admit it, but you were kind of disappointed.
The sunlight filtered in through the blinds, bringing you out of your slumber. You groaned, rolling around to cover your face.
“Morning sleepyhead.” You opened one eye tiredly, faced with Sehun’s chest. Still too tired to process it, you buried your face in it. “You’re lucky it’s a Saturday or you’d be on track to dropping out like I did.” It finally registers and you nearly fling yourself out of bed.
“Wha--” Sehun props himself up on one arm, supporting his head with his hand.
“I forgot how innocent you are at the core.” You sit up and brush your hair to one side.
“I am not innocent! I am an adult.”
“Mhmm whatever you say, princess. Go freshen up, I’ll start breakfast.”
You exit the bathroom and make your way back to the kitchen, you sit at the bar and watch Sehun from behind.
“Wah~ I knew you were a completely different person than you try to make people believe, but this is truly surprising.”
“I suppose. Is this what you meant by proving it to me?”
“Yeah, more or less. Not satisfied? Honestly, I’m not sure how to prove that you’re not just another one night stand. I thought that being together for a year would have proven it, but I guess my reputation is worse than I thought.”
“No, no, no! I didn’t mean it like that.”
He pats you on the head from across the kitchen counter, “I know. I’m not pressuring you to do anything, I’ll wait until you’re ready, but my promise is to always be there when you wake.”
“I’ve definitely been a bad influence on you.”
“I thought you promised.”
I’m just so uninspired right now... I also realized I got WAY more than 7 request during my hiatus. There are like 20 requests sitting in my ask. I closed the ask in the meantime and I will open it when I finish all the requests I have right now. Sorry guys! ^^;;
