Do you prefer books or movies?

Hm.......... honestly this is a hard one. I think it definitely depends on the genre. I think right now I’m really into science fiction and I think it’s really cool to read (particularly bc it’s something I want to learn how to write cough I have something in the works cough) BUTTTTTTTT.... I think watching it is way cooler. It’s almost surreal how some of the cyberpunk stuff looks.... really makes me wanna just go into the screen HAHHA

Although in terms of characters/plot, I feel like books have more detail (generally speaking). As a writer, it’s always so fascinating to see all the dif stylistic choices and also try and wrap my head around all the metaphors/motifs being thrown around.

tl;dr if I’m more invested in the world/landscapes/fantastical elements then def movies, but if it’s more about the plot/characters and idc much about the backdrop, then books
