I’ve tried to write this a couple times now but was never satisfied, so here we go again…

When I created this page, I was arguably the loneliest I have ever been. In an effort to fill that void, I often wrote about the kind of love and experiences I hoped to share with someone. This year, I had wholeheartedly believed I would be giving up on ever finding someone romantically, so I resorted to following the advice of an internet trend of eating 12 grapes under a table at midnight on New Year’s Day in order to find love this year (fyi, I hate grapes, that’s how much of a last resort this was). Fast forward to June, and I now get to say I’m officially and unexpectedly in a relationship. I only mention this because that’s one big reason I’ve been so absent from posting and forgetful of my schedule.

However, another reason is that, about a month or so ago, my grandad was taken ill and admitted to the hospital. After a while of being in the hospital, he passed away, so I have been taking time with my family to navigate this grief and focus on getting through the funeral - which was yesterday.

This is not goodbye. I will not be closing this account, nor giving up on this page entirely. I just wanted to share a little update about why I’ve been so hit and miss with posting lately for anyone who may have wondered.

I keep forgetting to post on my scheduled days!

Looking through my drafts, I have a bunch of unfinished fics. I’d love to try and finish them and get them posted gradually, but for now, I’m sticking to my Bucky and Y/N being a Bucky and Y/N posts every 10 days (ideally, but forgive me for missing another, I’m going through a lot right now physically and mentally)

So my dumbass forgot to post again the other day.

I know I don't have to, but I want to explain a little:

Firstly, I've been dealing with some really bad knee pain following an incident last summer. I went through a&e twice, multiple doctors, physio appointments and recently, an emergency GP who prescribed me strong painkillers and told me to get back in touch with my physiotherapist. I thought I was on a waitlist for an MRI, but I got the news a couple days ago that it’s been denied. Naturally, I’ve been devastated by that.

Second, I'm running two TikTok accounts. I won't go into too much detail about that so I can maintain some anonymity, BUT it brings me onto point number 3.

Thirdly, all I've done so far in 2026 is binge Sebastian's filmography, making my way through the projects I haven't seen yet. It's been slightly time consuming, but with the January blues feeling stronger than ever, it's been such good therapy for me.

(Fourth, ish, I actually do have some therapy real coming up.)

So even though all I feel I've done so far in 2026 is bed-rot, it's all been a go for me and l am ✨stressed✨

I promise I'll try to remember next time. I have reminders in my phone, so l guess I'll set more 🤣
