Kenneth Young released a cut LittleBigPlanet 2 test track called 'Space Moggy' after I contacted him with questions about cut tracks with his name tied to them.
I originally played this as The Monk, which is a decision I don't regret. It was still difficult & I still died a lot, so playing on the easiest difficulty wasn't underwhelming or punishing thankfully.
Playing the game as The Monk, I was able to appreciate the environmental story telling more while still having fun gameplay wise. It was a really good & fun playthrough!
After getting the Downpour DLC, I played as The Survivor next. Due to already completing Monk, it wasn't much different from Monk aside from it's difficulty. What set it apart from Monk is that the next time I played the campaign, there were Slugpups. I really enjoyed raising & protecting them, finding out what they could do, & having them protect me. I love them.
After my first Survivor playthrough, I played The Gourmand next, it was cool to have a Slugcat with a new moveset. I enjoyed how you had to explore more (even if I had to look it up) instead of going from Point A to B like the first 2 campaigns. Outer Expanse is cool. Definitely my favorite region.
I played Artificer next. It was a pretty straight forward campaign. While exploring Metropolis was fun, I just wish the campaign was longer.
Before playing as Rivulet, I was gonna play Hunter's Campaign, but I decided to hold it off due to its difficulty. (I also didn't really understand how the limited amount of cycles worked. So...)
Rivulet's campaign was fun. I enjoyed the high speed action of getting to shelters in time, along with using the Rarification Cell. It was interesting to see a world state so different from the other campaigns. Especially seeing 5 Pebbles' condition. It was a very different campaign, both story & gameplay wise. It's one of my favorites.
Spearmaster's Campaign was HARD. This campaign was definitely a huge test of your combat & navigation skills. Past Garbage Wastes was a nightmare. & Having to constantly fight & hide from Red Lizards, Red Centipedes, Spiders, Miros Vultures, & more in a campaign where everything wants to kill you was definitely a difficult task. But I feel like it paid off in the end.
I played Hunter next, because I wanted to end off with Saint's campaign. Hunter's campaign definitely needs a lot of planning. Dying too much in a bad spot could force you to reset entirely. I'm not a fan of the limited cycles, but it's sorta cool having to play differently.
Saint's campaign was cool. Sort of the opposite of Spearmaster's campaign. Where instead of being forced to fight, you must try to avoid combat entirely because of Saint's lack of combat skills. Character wise, Saint is definitely the most fun to play. Despite having the average walking speed, Saint has the best agility & reach of any Slugcat, making up for their lack of strength. Really don't like Rubicon though. Definitely my least favorite region in the game.
Inv was difficult & I had a migraine playing it, so that was fuuunnnn.
The Watcher campaign is my least favorite campaign. (Inv doesn't count.) Lacking a guide made playing it more annoying than enjoyable. The regions themselves were great, but I felt like most regions lacked any story to them. & It didn't feel like a connected world. But the regions that were important, definitely are cool. It's still a really good campaign though. & For it being my least favorite campaign, it really shows how amazing this game is!
I enjoyed this game so so much. There's a reason it's my 3rd favorite game ever. It's nice to be in a community like this. So thx to everyone for liking & enjoying my Rain World Art. & Thx for everything, Rain World!
