As much as I love Stevie, she's not exactly unbiased. Anything she says about Lindsey is rose colored. He has a family that he clearly loves. He may have had issues with Stevie in the past but not any more, having a family changes that. Stevie herself has rarely admitted to her own personal jealousies&resentments toward him, something that Sara commented in the limo tapes instigated fights. A user at the Ledge who spoke w/ Judy Wong said Judy told her how vicious Stevie could get to him.
Absolutely no. None of them are. She, as much as him, acknowledges how happy he is with his family and how good that is for him. It’s just that she also has a tendency to perhaps dismiss the emotional import of it in terms of their OWN relationship and its future.
Having a family does change what the issues are, but the idea that he no longer has issues with her? Yeah, no. A look at any number of songs from him in the past twenty years would contradict that, I’d say.
Stevie definitely plays down her own issues in that regard, and deflects onto Lindsey. Which is understandable, really.
