My local theatre is producing Shakespeare's rarely-performed political history play KING JOHN in Chicago, June 25 - July 10! Currently, KING JOHN has raised 48% of its $6000 budget and if you can, it could use your help with the rest. Donate:
Support Circuit Theatre's 2026 SeasonWe're excited to announce our 2026 production....Shakespeare’s King JohnDirected by Circuit's Associate Artistic DirectorKorey PimentalAt its core, King John asks what is the human cost to running a nation ethically and justly? Is that even possible? And if it is, what do we have to do, individually and collectively, to make it happen? It's been over a decade since Chicago audiences have been able to experience this rarely performed play. Your support of Circuit Theatre helps bring this play back to Chicago with artists reflective of our entire community. Reflecting the Chicago community to our audiences is one way that Circuit Theatre seeks to reclaim these classic plays for the artist and theatre goer of today.Your tax-deductible donation will go toward the production costs of our 2026 headliner, King John, with artists compensation at the forefront. Any excess funds will go toward the production of more 2026 Circuit events.Thank you so much for supporting storefront theatre in Chicago and for empowering our organization to continue reclaiming classical theatre for all.

Why KING JOHN, now? Broadway World describes it as "an unsettlingly timely portrait of political instability, disputed leadership, and the weaponization of truth." Circuit Theatre Co decolonizes classical theatre with their diverse ensemble cast and crew, with inclusivity at the core of its shows. Director Korey Pimental is a physically disabled, queer theatre director, producer, dramaturg, and accessibility consultant. Donate:

It would mean a lot to me to be able to get this show fully funded! Korey is my brother in law and a fierce artist, and he wants to give JOHN's cast and crew the best possible launch.

Post your Pride Flags!! To enjoy the flavor of life, take big bites! Lick that plate clean and carry the memory of happy times on that belly, hips, and butt!
It’s Pride month and that means a lot of things, but first: you made it here, through everything that’s going on, and that deserves to be noticed. I’m proud of you, and you can be very proud of yourself. Thank you for being strong and brave enough to persist.
saw someone trying to roast this guy on reddit but all the comments were just like "fuck off, that's based"

So what if people gain weight stress/comfort eating? Food has historically been a source of joy, culture, comfort, tradition, connection, and pleasure as much as it's been nutrition for all of humanity. It's not sad or pitiful if someone gains weight as a result of emotional eating. It's better than other bad habits, like drinking or smoking nicotine, both of which are romanticized and have sex appeal. If you got fat as the result of being stressed out and food brought you comfort/security/happiness: I love you, you don't need to lose the weight, there's nothing wrong with you, there's nothing sad about that, and I hope food continues to be a source of happiness for you. I'd rather be a stress eater than have a restrictive fixation on calories and spend my one precious life depriving myself of joy and shrinking myself.

Heck yeah, Dexter Jettster!
I got a clean black T-shirt, I strapped on my Doc Martens, and I grabbed a pair of earplugs—I am ready for #Dethklok! Music aside, I love this band—the guy behind all the music, Brendon Small, is a huge dork who makes cartoons, and he looks like he could get your accounting done for a reasonable rate. When he’s on stage, though, he assumes the persona of a rock star, and it’s so cool. :3
Dethklok's Brendon Small and Amon Amarth's Johan Hegg discuss the controlled chaos of Dethklok's live show. "We press play and hope a cat doesn't walk on the computer." Subscribe here for more! https://bit.ly/2RZJXTc Get more of Consequence http://consequence.net/ Facebook: http://cos.lv/Q

Their date were cut short - Johnny was called back to work. Peikko wasn't sure why since Johnny boy kept his lips tight (even during goodbye kiss)
Thanks for @claraknight for doing the thing 🌟
i havent considered dating for most of my life bc i just assumed that its not for me, but now that i know that i want to be in a relationship i wonder if im actually screwed on the account of me being ace with a fetish where sexuality should be. can i only date people who are also into feedism? if a person is into feedism then they probably wont find me attractive and if i date people who i find attractive then im destined to disgust or offend someone by just having the kink. am i just doomed or what? would be easier if i wasnt ace i feel like.
Doing this as a reblog instead of a comment because I feel like a lot of people could benefit from hearing this. I used to feel like that. I'm an asexual - very sex-repulsed - feeder, and my boyfriend is both very sexual and not into feedism at all. We've been together for two years and counting, and despite our incompatible sexualities, we've found ways to compromise. And - the important part - he doesn't hate me! He was completely normal and chill about it when I told him about my kink! I actually had to sob into his shoulder for a while because I was so scared he was going to hate me, and he just held me and told me he loved me and that it really wasn't that weird compared to the stuff he's into, and since then he's spent the next 2 years doing absolutely everything he can to press my buttons, despite getting no sexual pleasure from it himself. You know what he does get? The pleasure of teasing me and getting me all flustered, the pleasure of making me feel good, and regular excuses to eat a lot of nice food. So, like, don't lose hope, is what I'm saying. It's very possible to be an asexual feedist in a successful relationship with an allosexual non-feedist, even if feedism completely replaces your desire for typical sex. Your person is out there.
Start of a new week together! I’m genuinely glad we get to take a fresh start today. I’m proud of you for everything good you do and are. You should be too.
