Astoria cringed for the others material loss, “Rest in peace to all the screens you’ve lost. I’ve also lost a fair few of my belongings to over enthusiastic toddles. So, so many pairs of glasses.” She mourned playfully. “Good, you seem it.” She laughed slightly, standing up with a box once everything was back inside. “Thank you.”
“i am forever thankful that i switched to contacts when i was in high school. no more frames without lenses in my bag because i was hit with a ball, or whatever. but yeah, no problem.” buffy smiled at her, rearranging her bag strap again. “karma, it’ll repay me.”

“i didn’t even know it was a sneeze until little miss bossy declared it. but yes, if i’m not most needy around what do i possibly have going for me?”

Minsun scrolled through comments on his phone, smirking at the lewd remarks and suggestions about what he should do for tonight’s show. He bit into his bottom lip, trying hard not to make it too obvious that he was looking at something that wasn’t at all appropriate for the general public, and he almost jumped out of his skin when they walked in his direction, quickly letting his phone clatter on its surface to hide it’s contents until the back light timing went out. “shit. oh fuck, fuck shit, I’m sorry, you just scared me i wasn’t expecting someone to just…pop up, ha ha…?.” He tried to force the most innocent smile could, feeling a blush creeping up his neck and into his cheeks.
“that was the most amount of swears i’ve heard in less than half a minute.” cue the involuntary ugly laugh falling from her. “i didn’t see what you’re doing, so i’d say you’re safe. though, i have a lil advice. whatever you just almost lost your phone because of, doors lock.”

she’s covered in grease and probably even smells like it, but she’s been working at a garage for too long now. she’s used to the smell and the feeling of the grime, and often forgets that it tends to bother some people; especially in public places. she can tell when someone’s giving a judging look, or, at least, she think she can. standing in line at wendys she can’t help but think that someone is staring at her. “dude.” she mumbles, turning to the person behind her, assuming that they were the one staring. “sue me for wanting to get food after work, but staring, quite honestly, is fuckin’ creepy, and it isn’t going to change the fact that i smell like i’ve bathed in oil. which, i might as well have.”
“i’m not — it’s not rude staring. you know how there’s rude staring and then just normal staring that can often be grouped in with accidental staring? it wasn’t the bad type.” she stumbled over her words, really. being guilty and exposed never really part of her daily plans. “oil isn’t even the worst smell. maybe the worst to get out of clothes and the sort, but there are definitely worse things to feel like you’ve bathed in.”

“that was the longest lead up to hey wanna try this hybrid drug that i have ever witnessed. you really want there.” a smile graced her features as she spoke, clear amusement across all her features from the story, and the lengths he’d gone to. “but, uh — i’m not really a anything more than weed girl. especially when it’s comparison is heroin. sorry, bud.”

sitting down on the park bench, pippa brushed her blonde locks behind her ear eyes glued on the two tiny brunette boys running around the park, her boys sutter and ronald. her hand fell on her five month pregnant belly as she gently moved her fingers on her stomach. her mind thought about the new arrival as it normally did these days nerves took over as she thought more about it. she didn’t even know the gender yet due to having to postpone the appointment. did that make her a bad mother? her thoughts were interrupted when she felt someone take a seat beside her.
“you are so pregnant.” smooth, buff. tact definitely wasn’t her strong suit. she settled against the bench and let her eyes fall on the park. children everywhere, really. “i used to want a baby, but i am a baby so i decided that should really wait.”

Camilla walked into the room with a tray full of all kinds of gourmet treats, an excitable smirk gracing her ruby red lips. Somehow after slaving all day in the kitchen, she still managed to look like a model ready to walk the runway. “I come bearing food. I need an outside opinion on some new recipes I’m about to turn in for school.” She didn’t even bother to look and see who was there before she spoke.
“this is easily the best day of my life.” and maybe buffy was too easily pleased, but the hinting at free food was enough for her. the tray was placed down and she loomed over it, inhaling. “does your school need official taste testers? because i would quit my job to do that,.”

She laughed slightly, nodding her head in understanding. “I can’t imagine the damage you’ve gone through to arrive at that conclusion.” Tori joked, bending beside her to put the files back into the boxes. “It’s alright, I doubt you’d find out much information from the labels anyway. I trust you.”
“many, many phone screens have had to leave this world. and my best ereader. and one time i lost my keys for an entire week because they’d been hidden in a cupboard. it’s a sad life, really.” buffy let a short laugh fall into the air, placing files back into boxes, and patting the side. “i am a trustworthy person.”

“It’s okay, you can still have the crown in our apartment.” Wrinkling her nose she added, “But seriously? Who the hell says bless me? That’s way passive aggressive.”
“And then she just repeated it louder because I took too long to say it again, despite there being like fifteen children around me. I’ve lost my crown, Nat. She snatched it right from my head while I wasn’t looking.” There was an exaggerated huff, before she broke out into a laugh.

“You see, that’s where the hard part comes in. Can I really beat out a child for the most neediest person around here? Probably not.”

Once her dog had been safely caught, the woman’s shoulders relaxed as she heaved a tired sigh. Gratefully taking the squirming puppy off her before glancing down at the dropped boxes. “They are rather important actually… Important enough that they shouldn’t be on the floor.” She murmured in reply then nodded at the others forgotten bag. “I hope there wasn’t anything too delicate in there.”
“oh, sometimes i work with children so i learned it’s best to not leave things that can break in my bag. sometimes they like to throw it when they see it, it was a really fast lesson.” she throw her bag back over her shoulder, before crouching to try and collect the contents of the boxes. “i promise i’m not paying attention, just straightening.”
