“I don’t know if snazzy is the word to describe a 50s look but I’ll take it,” Nicholas said with a grin, “Thank you.”

“You’re quite welcome!” She said with a wide grin. “I know, I should probably figure out which terms go with which decade and all. But I tend to use them freely. I mean, I have a pretty good idea which ones go with which, but yeah.” Buffy stopped quickly. “Sorry, I’m rambling. I don’t really know what we’re supposed to talk about at these kinds of things, you know..”

“I don’t know why I bothered dying my hair for this. Even though it’s only temporary, I miss the blue hair already,” Evie said, sipping on her drink and straightening out her skirt, “What do you think? Should I have gone brunette?”

“Oh, uhm. I think it looks good!” Buffy tried to offer reassurance. “Plus, like you said - it’s only temporary. You can change it any time you want!” She tilted her head, and stopped. “What about me? Should I change mine up? I’ve never done anything crazy like you.. blue, I mean.”

“I can’t be the only one whose noticed how basically everyone chose the 70s for their decade, right?” Gwen said, talking to the nearest person. “Like seriously, I know the 70s were iconic but I want to see more 80s colour and flair.”

“I mean, I don’t really see that as a bad thing. But yeah, I get it. I personally will always choose the ‘90s given the opportunity.” Buffy scanned the others face for a reaction, but then offered a small smile. “What are some of your favorite aesthetics from the ‘80s, though?”
