Kelsi paused when she saw the other, fidgeting with her fingers before deciding to go over. “Hey... Are you okay? I don’t usually see people dumb their bags out on the park bench for nothing...”

“You know what my aunt would say.” Amy joked, knowing that Laurie was the only person who really did know. “Why should I?” She protested. “I have been working for years and clearly it’s not going anywhere. I’m starting to think I should just give up, maybe become a teacher instead.”
