Maxilla O'Malley, or Max, is twisted from the caretaker and his dog from the haunted mansion.
Quiet old man.. a lot of rumors are spread about him; a gravedigger, the grandson of a terrifying beast, a ghost. Who's to say what's true and what isnt about him, really? After all, he rarely speaks and is only seen working at night so it's not as if it's easy to just ask him. In actuality hes a pretty nice guy who just prefers the silence, though with how much he gets around campus unnoticed it IS a bit scary to imagine how many secrets hes picked up over the years... maybe it's a good thing he mostly keeps to himself.
Yuu might first meet him on a night they cant sleep so they decide to step out, only to be startled by the tall and almost skeletal looking figure looming over the garden beds of ramshackle in the darkness.
The glint of his shovel in the moonlight feels almost threatening, a shiver down their spine when they realize hes spotted them. Its fight or flight and they better make a choice *fast*, but they dont even get the chance as his long shambling strides allow him to close in.
Then he hands them something they lost earlier that day without a word, nods at them under the brim of his hat, and goes back to work at cleaning around ramshackles grounds for it's new residents.
-While he works on staff as the groundskeeper, in my heart hes an honorary ramshackle member(yuu needs a reliable adult in their life)
-Grandfather was a grey wolf beastman(hes a bloodhound/lab mix mostly, low wolf content) and once a well respected and even feared figure, but met his end when lightning struck. Bad luck seems to run in his family
-Had a wife, but she sadly passed away some years ago. His two children are fully grown, however, and doing well
-Overall a kind man who cares for the students of NRC despite usually keeping his distance, but his offstandish and habit of only appearing at night demeanor often paint him as the center of frightening rumors around the school
-About 6'1 in feet, but he hunches over so he looks closer to 5'11
-Very skinny and boney looking someone give this guy a sandwich please
