A peccary or also known as a javelina or skunk pig in Bernardo today. Weekends are starting to suck at Bernardo, there were too many people and subsequently, all the birds were too far away, not within reach. https://www.instagram.com/p/CoG2x_rsa4G/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Two years ago today Mark Aragon, Nick Layman and I went to cover what was supposed to be a mega rally in Washington DC. Little did we know that we would be covering something so unimaginable with historic consequences. We went strictly as press, not expecting to be witness of a full attack on the US Capitol. Meanwhile in Culiacan, Sinaloa, it looks like they captured Ovidio Guzman aka El Raton, a Chapito (son of El Chapo). Mexican authorities are having a hard time getting him out of Culiacan. As I write this, sicarios are setting up road blocks, burning vehicles and attacking the airport in Culiacan to keep authorities from transporting Ovidio. In some US media networks it was erroneously reported that Rafael Caro Quintero was freed during a prison attack in Ciudad Juarez. But it was Ernesto Alfredo Piñón de la Cruz, aka El Neto, who was rescued from a prison by an armed commando who killed 10 guards and 7 adversarial criminals. El Neto is leader of the street gang Los Mexicles who are said to be affiliated with the Sinaloa cartel. In the most recent news, It appears that El Neto was killed this morning in a shootout with Mexican authorities. I would show you a picture of his body at the time he was killed, but I will probably get banned by Facebook. Ciudad Juarez, a Mexican city that borders El Paso, Texas is heated right now. Yesterday, on New Year"s day, a heavily armed commando attacked the state prison, killed at least 10 guards and about 30 dangerous criminals escaped. It is said that the street gang, Los Mexicles, are responsible for the violence. Los Mexicles are affiliated with the Sinaloa Cartel. Today there were numerous confrontations with police and National Guard around the city, at least 24 people reported killed. And I had plans to go there last week to cover the migrant influx, but I was not able to coordinate and found out my passport expired this January.
