Hello there!
I'm Liah Legaspi-Dionisio. I recently got married to a man that I met in a bar a few years back and fell in love with him ever since. I am very passionate about party planning (small gatherings for my friends and family) and dancing. I like learning, exploring and discovering new things. I want to travel the world one step at a time, helping to save Mother Earth by influencing the people around me to recycle and conserve, thrift shopping is my hobby and I love color so much!
I created this blog for my new, adventures of being a MISIS, discovering the do's and don'ts in marriage, designing our little home and soon finding out what its like to be a Mommy!
Thank you and hope you get to know me more with this blog :)
P.S. I have so much to learn about grammar so please bear with me. Hehe!
Blessing of our car :) We thank God for always blessing us and giving us more than what we need, thank you to our dear parents for the love and support and lastly, thank you God for giving me a very hard working husband who provides everything for the comfort of our family. I love you my love!!! #blessed #DONTSTOP2015 #MrandMrsD #ALiahdventurecontinues ❤🚗
And because I'm on a diet and dying to eat some pancakes, I tried this healthy "pancake" recipe. ¤ Smashed bananas ¤ Eggs Yup! Only two ingredients and tanan! Instant pancake! Just put some unsalted butter on top for added flavor 😘 #misisrecipe #buhaymisisdotcom
Misis pick of the week! 👍 Lancome eye makeup remover! This little thing does make wonders. A small drop can remove so much makeup! Its very useful especially for those who always wear eyeliners and eyeshadows. #makeup #misispick ❤
Need to buy another magical cheek tint from Body Shop. It lasts long on your cheeks and its even water proof! How can you not love it? 👍 #makeup #misispick
Pope Francis will be in the Philippines today! Another historic event for our country. I'm getting the excitement that everyone feels who wish to see the Pope. Luckily, I am a Thomasian Alumni so that means I get the chance to see him even if its so far away. (With so many people, goodluck to me and my poor eye sight!) And with all these excitement and opportunity, I chose not to participate in seeing him. I'm not that excited to be pushed by so many people and I have the tendency to pee all the time so goodluck sa pila. Anyway, I know that the Pope will understand and of course my heart, my soul and my prayers are all with the Holiness.
Another HOOORAAAY for today!!! is my husband, got promoted!!! Weee!!! I'm so happy that my fingers are literally enjoy typing exclamation points!!! Hahaha! I'm not even making sense here. So yeah, my husband is one hard worker fella. He gave his time, heart and passion for his job. He complains and have stress days at work but you'll see in his eyes that he still enjoys working. I am Ali's number one supporter and I am so proud of him for his accomplishments, big or small. I am very grateful that the Lord blessed my husband to be a hardworking guy. (and I know that "hard working" is an understatement!). So congratulations to my Super duper macho pogi mabait na husband! I'm so proud of you!!! GOOD JOB!!!
I may have a difficult January, but God has blessed me with a hardworking husband and a visit from The Pope. So how can I complain? Problems come and go but the Lord's blessings are everyday. I am just thankful. :)
Ali's cousin talked to us regarding birth control because we are planning to have a baby on our 2nd year of marriage. She said that we should check first if we'll have a hard time to make a "plus one". So last Friday, we went to my OB (well technically I only met her that night, haha!) She was referred to me by my doctor Dra. Ancheta.
Dra. Shie was super warm and you can talk to her about anything. As in ANNNNYYYTHIIIING. She asked us about our birth control plans, what method are we using etc. and she told us that everything's normal because I have a regular menstrual cycle and we will not be having any problems. She even told us that if we wanted to create a Baby D this month, she can help us. (agad agad Doc?) So we are very glad that we can pro-create once we decided that we want to.
To tell you all the truth, it gives me creeps every time we talked about having a little one. Kinakabahan talaga ako. Hehehe! Maybe it's still not the right time to have one. As my OB said:
"Your baby will be the happiest when you have him/her when you're ready"
First, I just want to say I'm very sorry to our dear God for giving up my fasting on the 3rd day. I just need to vent out something and just need every bit of positivity left in my body now.
Well, today, I cried almost the whole day in the office. NAKAKAHIYA. I just can't contain it anymore. I feel like in this office, whenever I got a "work challenge", my boss doesn't help me. I don't know if I'm not giving him the chance to help me, but I really really need it. I know everything happens for a reason and I know its my fault. I just don't know how to solve it.
God is still so faithful and good. I know he gave me this problem because I can overcome it and he has a plan. God works within people around us. He gave me Mama Bing to help me solve the problem but still something is still unfixable. I'll just give it to God.
My last post before taking a 5day break from social media and I will try to eat just 2meals a day for #prayerandfasting2015 I know God will help me through this spiritual activity. 🙏🙏🙏 #quotestoliveby
Ali and I were discussing about our goals for this year. We decided to have a theme for 2015 to help us achieve our plans. Its #DONTSTOP2015 😄 Our top priorities/goals are: 1. Buy our first car 🚗 2. Continue decorating and building our condo 🏡 3. Save and have business 💼 4. Travel to a foreign country ✈ 5. andddd lastly, have a baby 👶 (in the 4th quarter of 2015) This is all for you, Lord God🙏 We know that you'll help us and direct us to your good plans. #DONTSTOP2015 #MrandMrsD #ALiahDventurecontinues 👊
Thank you God for blessing my "hamonado" arms with pizzapastacombo, my triple chin with ice cream and cakes, my "pata" legs with lechon and bacon, my flabby belly with processed food and my big fat butt with Ali's home cooked meal. Thank you God for letting me experience the joy of eating. 2014 is all about filling my body with tons of food and for the coming year, I will just eat clean and promise to use my sleeping muscles more by exercising and be more masipag at home. Saying hello to fit and healthy 2015!!! 😘 #beforegettingpreggy #liAhdventureto100lbs
