This little dude is my motivation to build a school. I want an inspiring and enjoyable education for him rather than trained to be an efficient secretary!
What an adventure Iām about to go through! We are starting at the very beginning of creating a new independent school and by āweā I mean me, Kristy, and you have the chance to follow my progress. Iām well aware that this is going to be a long and difficult mission but I have the will power and creativity. Iāll keeping you updated on each step, show my ideas and ask for advice. Action Plan
I've been listening to various podcasts about the education system in Australia, funding, our poor performance and I've been listening to entrepreneurs and business startup type podcasts as well. What I have taken from these is that I need to make some lists and need to get started and work at my goal EVERY DAY!
Research. What are other people doing? Talk to people, parents, schools etc.
Start to build a picture of what I want to create. What am I selling? What type of education will I provide?
Take some school tours.
Start writing policy documents.
