LOVELIST {NUMBER 12}

Basically, this free printable of a vintage camera from Catherine Davis over at DesignEditor is gorgeous and it will be making its framed debut in my creative space ASAP. There is something about little remnants of the past that comfort me, and high quality images of vintage instruments of creativity never cease to inspire me. Bonus: In addition to the free download, Davis includes instructions on how to get it printed it as a poster if that's your bag. 

Every woman, expecting or not, needs Burt's Bees Belly Butter in their beauty regimen. Not only is it proven to prevent stretch marks, it aids in reducing the appearance of ones you may already have had the pleasure of encountering. It isn't greasy, it has tons of vitamin E in it, and it will motivate you and make you feel like a zillion bucks on days when you would otherwise sit in your sweat pants and watch Netflix. You just need to know about Darling Magazine. I have recently discovered this gem and I must say it has quickly become my favorite online read. I do not have a subscription (yet!) but their online content is fantastic. Their tag line is "the art of being a woman" and while that induced some eye rolls from me at the get-go, it is a truly innovative publication for women. Their content is separated into unusual (but extremely practical) subcategories that describe women we all know and love. On their website you will find these subcategories listed as tabs entitled "hostess" "stylist" "confidant" "achiever" "intellectual" etc. Each category is stocked full of wonderful articles on everything from recipes to china patterns, and from cultivating friendships to becoming more culturally literate. What's more? Everything they publish is GORGEOUS. They are so oriented to detail and have so clearly hammered out every ounce of creative resources they have to pay attention to typography, photography, branding, marketing, content, etc. Bottom line: If you're looking something inspiring to read that won't rot your brain or make you want to return to Pinterest for the hundredth hour of uninspiring content, give Darling Magazine a try. It is stellar and I'm certain you will find something there to suit your interests.

This advent calendar of service from The Neighborhood is just precious and sweet and FREE. I am printing it out and making this a part of our Christmas season this year. We need an advent calendar, and this is a great way to count down to Christmas without making it all about getting a treat or piece of candy each day. I also LOVE the idea of teaching my son about the importance of serving others. What better time of year to serve others than at Christmas?
