Howdy everyone.

It’s been a bit since i posted on this blog, its mainly been art tips that I’ve been reblogging. As I had said in a previous post, i was going to make this more of my own personal art blog, so those who follow me, hello. I’ve been so unmotivated lately to draw, with school and graduation coming very soon, its been stressful. I’m currently on break and have been having a blast taking time to myself to spend it with people who matter most to me. 

At a very slow pace, this blog will have more art on it. My art style has been changing a lot more and I like where its going, but for now, I’m sorry. This blog will I guess be on hiatus until I can keep that art motivation pumping through me constantly instead of every few months.

How to make lineart pop in digital art?

ah!! well usually what i tend to do is to pick a brush that is just the right size for the canvas so that i can go into finer details but also thicken lines i want to exaggerate cx

if u dont color ur lineart, its pretty easy to make it stand out, black is a very dominant color and can hold its own in a piece quite easily, but if ur piece is already dark, id suggest defining the lineart with light highlights : v

if ur coloring ur lineart, i suggest making the color slightly darker than the shading so that it looks like a different color but doesnt completely stray away from the color palette ur using uwu

another thing is to make ur lineart dynamic, thickening lineart in certain places where u want to add emphasis and making certain lines thinner to add more precise detail catch the viewer’s attention because its not the same boring pressure sensitivity and thickness over and over again : )

but thats just my own way of doing this, u dont have to take my advice ^^
