Well..... .....a new ultrasound (yesterday) shows that the DVT in my calf is almost gone and that there are no other clots in my leg. Had a good chat with the Doctor and the increase in pain may be a combination of many things including post thrombotic syndrome (due to damage from the clot), nerve pain (due to change in meds for something else) and/or peripheral vascular disease (due to age and long-term effects of T2 diabetes). The main thing is that the clot is almost gone, there is nothing else wrong with my leg(s) and I can return to exercising starting with something low impact like an elliptical (still no weights since my left shoulder is still damaged). I will discuss the source of the leg pain with my PCP, but I'm fairly sure I know what the cause is now that blood clots have been ruled out. Ran the Manitoba Marathon Virtual 10K this morning. 🏃‍♂️💨 . So these locks don’t work when the battery dies!! We were locked out for just over an hour this morning after returning from the bathroom 😱. . Overnight security didn’t have a key, the staff couldn’t get in…had to wait for the maintenance guy, the ONLY person with a key! .
