“Hopefully they’ll have a free spot for us.” She agreed, eyes averted while she took the pamphlet into her own hands. Her eyes treading along the insides, looking at all of the different things to do. Remembering Ember’s suggestion about the restaurants, she flipped until she saw the section for food. “Now,” she started, while she stepped beside her roommate. “What will you not eat?” Was her way of getting to the basics, and would hopefully get them there quicker.
While they agreed on that, the taxi Ember must have called pulled up, and was visible through the clear doors of the hotel. The twosome made they’re way outside, and into the taxi. Where they continued to agree on which restaurant they’d be dining at sooner or later.
As the sat down in the taxi next to each other she thought about what Blaire had asked. "Grafton Street, please." she said kindly to the taxi driver. He began forward as she looked back to Blaire. "Uhm, I would say I'm pretty much up for anything. Something local sounds pretty good." she said to her with a smile. "Have you ever had Irish cuisine?" she, herself, had not. She only thought it would be consisted of potatoes and lamb, but of course she knew is was being stereotypical. She wanted to find out what traditional food here really was. She thought of it as part of the whole experience.
Ember looked away from her travel buddy to outside the window. Ireland was being flashed before her eyes. It was so beautiful, between the small villages and the open countryside. It was nothing like American, but at the same time she felt at home in the foreign country. It was just peaceful.
