Space Mermaids: ‘Blue Beauty’

A rare strain of space mermaid, the Blue Beauty gets its name from the blue bioluminescence that covers their bodies. They can grow up to 500 feet in length and are extremely aggressive and also highly sentient and very territorial (although most strains have become nomadic). This strain and strains similar to it get their energy from radiation and target ships carrying radioactive ore. They cannot see like humans can and rely on different energy waves and a form of telepathy to communicate with others of their kind.

This particular strain lures ships by the beautiful bioluminescence on their bodies as well as their strange alien beauty to lure the humans on the ship to come closer. They are rare and their numbers are few, so despite their high levels of aggression, the Blue Beauty tends to be very reclusive so as to protect their numbers.

hey, um. this might be a little weird and out of nowhere but i found your blog through that midnight crew draw the squad thing you did and i really like your stuff! your expressions are really, really good and i really like how you draw lanky figures like gaster (or slenderman? am i bad for saying he really looks like slenderman?) keep up the good work!
