rewatching deep space 9. i like when they want to make it look like a character is swamped in work but they don't use paper in the setting so you'll just see captain sisko at his desk surrounded by ipads

Friend in an alleyway | my wife sent me this photo the other day and said "you HAVE to draw this." and I agreed completely <:

the world's smallest carnivore is called the "least weasel" šš i'm dying but like if it's the smallest carnivore then it sure is the least amount of weasel you can have ššš
Look at him: this is absolutely the least amount of weasel you can have
To really put it in perspective
Immediately I love him

Anyone else kinda ship Machigi with Bren? Heās definitely flirting with him. XD
(I just started Intruder.)
Edit: omg, it all comes back to t̵h̵eĢø Ģ“pĢ·oĢ·rĢ“c̵eĢøl̵aĢøiĢ“nĢ·sĢ·ā¦
Iām at the part of the Foreigner series where Bren starts sounding like the annoying white people living in Japan who are over-the-top xenophobic. Iām glad we have the Cajeiri POV scenes to balance things out now. Makes me think itās intentional that weāre supposed to find Bren kind of irritating in these moments.
Edit: okay, heās chilled out a bit. But now Barb is being Barb. I find this to be the least interesting source of drama in the books, lol.
Do you recognize this TV theme song? #526
I know this and can name the series
I know this but can't name the series
I might know this
I've never heard this
ātwo is for discipline heedless of trialā yeah motherfucker they were NOT heeding those trials. They couldnāt they didnt even know where the trials were. āheedless of trialā bitch they finally found the trials and were like uhmmm this violates OSHA.
which of these does not happen in corru.observer
two of them almost make out and then she calls her her friend
someone's wife commits suicide in front of them
someone calls funfriend "neither fun nor friend"
the aliens have dogs and they're giant cockroaches
there is a cafe that serves coffee mixed with orange juice
main character murders an awesome yaouri couple
one of the aliens tells her coworker he has to make out with her
secret farming sim mode
violence in memories is illegal so you have to turn it into video games
youtube is heavily implied to no longer exist
there is a restaurant in the same building as a government organisation
the aliens get drunk off of oranges
if you are a corru observer could you pretty please reblog so that it reaches people who do not observe corru. thank you
i think the near-extinction of people making fun, deep and/or unique interactive text-based browser games, projects and stories is catastrophic to the internet. i'm talking pre-itch.io era, nothing against it.
there are a lot of fun ones listed here and here but for the most part, they were made years ago and are now a dying breed. i get why. there's no money in it. factoring in the cost of web hosting and servers, it probably costs money. it's just sad that it's a dying art form.
anyway, here's some of my favorite browser-based interactive projects and games, if you're into that kind of thing. 90% of them are on the lists that i linked above.
A Better World - create an alternate history timeline
Alter Ego - abandonware birth-to-death life simulator game
Seedship - text-based game about colonizing a new planet
Sandboxels or ThisIsSand - free-falling sand physics games

Miniconomy - player driven economy game

BrantSteele.net - game show and Hunger Games simulators
Murder Games - fight to the death simulator by Orteil
Cookie Clicker - different but felt weird not including it. by Orteil.
if you're ever thinking about making a niche project that only a select number of individuals will be nerdy enough to enjoy, keep in mind i've been playing some of these games off and on for 20~ years (Alter Ego, for example). quite literally a lifetime of replayability.
since this post blew up, i've been wanting to do an addition with all of the recommendations from the comments and tags. but there's a lot of them. some people might be crazy enough to sit down and seriously put them all in one post with descriptions. those people are honestly sick in the head.
anyway, here's all of the recommendations from the reblogs. not all of them are text-based, but it's a great mixture of styles. also don't forget the links in the second paragraph of the OP which will take you to FMHY where there are a bunch more games listed.
