---He's so used to treating everyone as prey or subordinates that it's genuinely hard for him to make a REAL connection with someone that doesn't involve his predatory/paternal instincts.
---Jester hides his irritation well, but the circus troupe can practically FEEL when he's internally seething (except maybe Pierrot).
---Jester works hard to make sure EVERYONE in his family is ok and periodically checks on them and their mental health. He may not always have the perfect solution, given his own biases towards life and humanity, but he does make an effort.
---Like many who have suffered, Jester finds it difficult to empathize with others who have suffered differently from him. He's ok with other monsters, very kind to them actually, but with humans? It feels too night and day for him to recognize that a human has truly suffered unless he is SURE that this human won't hurt his family/betray them.
---He doesn't harbor the prejudices towards short-clawed creatures and monsters who cannot blend in easily. Jester truly believes all monsters are beautiful, however that doesn't stop some internal biases from appearing every now and again. Unconsciously, he will try to protect Bil from harm (even if Bil is perfectly capable of defending himself) or keep Doctor out of sight for safety, even if the good Doctor actually WANTS to go outside.
---Most look at him and assume he's polite, a butler, a push-over---that couldn't be further from the truth. His sadism matches Jester's and he will break you under his heel.
---Living even as a monster who blends well among humanity, TT finds the species ungrateful and arrogant as a whole.
---He doesn't feel shame for who he is, or what he looks like--it's just a fact of life to him that he benefits from human perception more easily than most of his brethren. TT cannot help what he is born with, so regret/envy aren't things that usually enter his mind.
---He refuses to let a human be in his bed. REFUSES. No matter how pretty or obedient.
---No one has respected TT all his life....whether it be from his appearance, his claws, or lack of strength---thus, he gets quite the high when someone actually bows their head to him or respects his wishes. The excitement goes right from his head to his crotch.
