Sometimes you want to feel like you did a few years ago. Eating the food you used to eat can give you this feeling. Walking around Moncloa, surronded by young fellas on their longboards, BurgerBoom went to Don Oso, The unofficial College Burger place. That white & red decoration, with no tables in, people on their feet holding a burger on their hands, that vintage cash register ... Don Oso is a different place you can go to surprise a date after, have some burgers with the gang or just to eat a good burger saving money. Don Oso offers you a traditional, non-gourmet burger, menu is quiet simple: cheese, bacon or mushrooms burger in Normal size (2.10€) or Super size (3.45€). I picked The Super burger with mushrooms (Meat is not that big, so you better go for the Super). Meat is tasted, you can see is not as quality as in other burger places, but still delicious, they grill it just in front of you, what is always an extra point. Other good point is the Lettuce, Tomato and onion combo on it... fresher than a Bel Air prince!. That makes the burger crunchy... what We all know is a winner! Served with a 33cl Mahou5 stars -So spaniard It hurts- total prize was 4.90. What Its cheaper than the fast food burger locals, and even faster, in less than 5 mins burgers are ready! Traditional bread, sesame seed on it. Covered by a white napkin you shouldnt eat. Damn, so retro. Fries arent included, and well, they dont look that good, neither the ketchup or mustard -in this 2009 recipient- so BurgerBoom is not responsible if you decide to try them. I would name Don Oso as the Best Low Cost Burger Place in Madrid. But well, rating the burger you get a 6.1 in our RichBurger scale out of 10). Be Good, eat fat. @ivanrosell
