it can be tempting to live your life like a prequel. to live as if you’re setting up your own story.and once you lose the weight, once you have the money, once you graduate school, once you’re in a real relationship, once, once, once. then finally, you’ll begin to live, and everything you do up until that point is some kind of half-life, some unimportant foreword you can skip. don’t do this. inhabit your life completely. sink fully into the wealth of your existence. the power to manifest is in the fearless owning of who you are, so that you can shape where you’re going.
Concept: I am alone in a home overlooking a lake on a late autumn day. Huge glass windows cover the walls. The leaves on the trees outside are deep red and orange and are rustling in the wind. There are dark clouds rolling in and rumbles of thunder in the distance. The fireplace is lit and the wood is crackling. My tea is brewing, filling the room with an aroma of sweet spices. I have a book in my hand and a cat on my lap. This is my happy place.
cry to this.
don’t feel bad for feeling sad or anxious. you don’t need to have a valid reason, emotions are messy. sometimes the only thing that can help is resting, and taking care of yourself. do little things that make you feel calmer. express strong emotions in ways that don’t hurt yourself in any form. stay healthy and well-rested and surround yourself with things that are good for you. be there for yourself. this will pass.
