Like okay fucking not sorry if you think someone just playing around creatively is not cool or creative or talented enough?? You know you can give advice without being so fucking mean right. What we should actually get meaner about, if you needed to whine this badly, is the sheer entitlement audiences have to various creative work and people's own stories and characters.

Harassing voice actors over ships.

Badgering fanfic/writers or indie comic publishers about when the next chapter is coming. Dropping fics or comics because they haven't uploaded in a few months. Dropping shows after two weeks because you already drew all the art within the first three days of publishing and now you lost interest in cultivating a Fandom space

Asking, often specifically POC or female dominated comics/medias, why they can't have more of the type of characters that the fans find interesting (White men). Fandom racism. Fandom misogyny.

And also well, you know, making meanspirited posts about how "Lazy" and "ungrateful" artists and writers online are. Not corporate professionals. People who post after their dayjob. People who are disabled at home and passionate about their interests. People who want more than just to chase a fleeting trend for a crumb of attention before it's inevitably ripped away or worse yet scraped by Ai and resold as vomit.

But that's the point isn't it. You're the entitled one, and you want to complain about how people's ocs aren't relatable enough for you or catering to your interests. Why don't you pick up a pencil or mind your own business. Get a different hobby.

Social media is being tiktokified and anything even slightly demanding our patience or thought is swiftly let to rot on the sidelines. But sure, people sharing thoughts about their personal creative project is the problem. Did it not have enough jumpcuts for you? Was it not concise enough? Did you flinch at the sight of fiction not being cooked and served on a platter for you to forget about after you scroll to the next bit?
